No he can't. He has never had a consistently decent deep ball at lsu. His deep ball is basically a wasted play.

You are not "stretching the filed" with a QB that cant/wont run.
That’s like saying “You’re not stretching the field with a QB who won’t vote”; It has no bearing on it.

I find yards per attempt and qb rating to be better stats to determine qb effectiveness.
Nuss is 94th and 80th respectively with those

Is it not clear to anyone with eyes that something is wrong with him? I think his injury has been mismanaged by BK. Why have him play agin' SELU? So stupid.

The only reason we lost to OLE MRS is because OLE MRS ran almost twice as many plays as the Fighting Tigers from LSU.
That will be fixed along with Nuss getting well. Great things are awaiting.

Outside of the Ole Miss game, Nuss's PFF grades have been good as well.

Did you even watch the videos?

Do you think that BK mismanaged his injury? Maybe he should have sat for SELU.
Curious to know why he didn't sit him.

I used QB rating. Do you mean something else? Passing rating? My impression was that QBR had to do with situational adjustment as well (like if you did what you needed to do the down and situation, if your receiver dropped the ball, if you scrambled on the play, etc) which a pure passer rating wouldn’t pick up

Yeah, I think while he’s clearly not the Nuss we saw in peak form last year, he’s not some scrub either. Even this season, he’s exactly the QB we would’ve killed for in the 2010s with a solid defense. And we have a solid defense.
Just gotta the run game going!! I think that worries me the most, not Nuss’s play. Cuz without the run game, Nuss DOES need to play like a heisman candidate for us to have a functional offense

Maybe his record is better than John Mateer, but the hard reality is that LSU has not been dominate in their games, and IMO it finally caught up with my Tigahs during that OM game. Remember the hard part of the season is almost upon us. If LSU puts on a display like that OM debacle, during the Bama game, the Crimson Tide will grind them into the ground.
I hope the game this weekend against the South Carolina Gamecocks will be the turning point leading to a winning season and the playoffs. Okay so LSU won their first game of the season, now let'um beat Bama.
Geaux Tigahs!
