He will need to get back lost velocity and kill his pro day to even get drafted, as that and his accuracy is his only semi-positive measurable right now. He has absolutely horrible pocket presence, horrible mechanics on 80% of his throws, has not won anything, and is as immobile as any QB on the board. The NFL places an inordinate amount of value on the combine/workouts so he has a chance, but the NFL also devalues QB for a drop in production/ablity from season to season.
Nuss made very few NFL type throws this season. Even the third down completion to the sideline to Anderson in the first drive which was an absolute dime will be questioned by NFL scouts as the velocity was down compared to 2024. If I notice that live on a TV above the bar while being on my 3rd tanq and tonic of the evening, I imagine a scout will as well.

I think he still gets drafted. NFL scouts will evaluate him. He did well last year (negative was the turnovers) when he had NFL lineman blocking him and NFL talent at WR and TE positions catching the passes.
They will look to see if he is healthy. I think a QB minded coach ( McVey, Shanahan, Etc) will look into drafting him in the 4th round range. Someone they can coach and learn behind a veteran.
