5 SEC games have to win all 5 to hit 14
The only way this team is making the post season is if they win the SEC tournament. All teams are invited now or LSU wouldn't even get to Hoover.
13 wins will not get this team into the post season.
5 more SEC wins out of 5 remaiming SEC games or winning the SEC tournament is not happening. Heck, winning 4 of the last 5 and getting to 13 wins probably isn't happening.

The positive is Jay will have all the time in the world to evaluate the proper transfer portal fits unlike last year and the last time he won a NC before that.

I would still stay 13 squeaks LSU in, especially with a sec tournament win or two. But that’s not going to happen either because UGA is going to do the same thing to LSU as Mississippi State did. LSU will probably take an early lead by a few runs or even more in the next two games but we all know UGA will end up coming back to win both games and sweep LSU because LSUs pitching is at a 3A high school level.

I think the tournament, for all sports, should include the previous season’s champions so they have a chance to defend their title.
This pretty much automatically happens in basketball and gymnastics. Probably will happen in football too, especially if there is expansion. But the data set is too small for now.
