When Notre Dame scheduled these teams, do you really think they were saying “shite yeah, we’ve finally scheduled a gauntlet this year”…

Northern Illinois (loss), Purdue, Miami Ohio, Louisville, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Navy, Virginia and Army.

That has nothing to do with what I said. Once again, please link the current strength of schedule rankings that you are citing.

They did not go into the playoff healthy this year. Fact is if they joined the ACC their SOS would probably be worse.

Aren't they contractually obligated to play a certain number of ACC teams every year? And the ACC rotated those teams on the schedule. Also, since ND can't play in the ACC championship game, they will never be seeded top four and get a bye.

For all the hardasses out there that think we should play a top OOC

I dont have an issue playing a a decent team OOC but it does us no good to play them in week 1 as Kelly has shown to have a team that generally have slow starts to the season and even games at times.

Drop the Clemson game or move heaven and earth to get a week 0 game.

CBK did better at ND then Freeman. He made the playoffs and national championship game while playing a tougher SOS and when ND had higher academic standards. CBK also had a perfect regular season record and never lost to Northern Illinois. ND wouldn't have even sniffed the playoffs this year under the old system.

Very impressive to spew so many lies in a few sentences. Your folks must be proud.

You should actually research the juggernaut BK faced once or twice per year. He got blown out in the CFP and BCS because he didn't belong there. After 3 CFP games this year, MF has probably exceeded anything BK ever faced at ND. BK is under .500 vs ranked opponents in his career. 3-6 at LSU.

Kelly's Season Records w/Key LOSSES:

Irony being that if LSU had Notre Dames schedule they still wouldn’t have made the playoffs.

Note Dame will lose by 2 TDS minimum and what will be different about Notre Dame. Nothing. Same as usual.

Yes correct, when ND joined the ACC, contractually they have to play 5 ACC teams in FB every year through 2037. ACC schedules their games. The other 7 games are under ND control. They are independent in FB, but member of ACC in all other sports.
