I know there's been talk of him red shirting, but with him getting healthier do you think there planning some packages with him. With two healthy knees Lowell is like a men among boys he already has an NFL body with speed agility. Canada might feel Narcisse is the best quarterback for his system. We all know Brennen is O's guy. I thought he didn't mahe Mississippi State trip because he was red shirting. Now he went to Florida and dressed wonder if that's a Canada thing

Anything beyond speculation or are you just spouting nonsense?

That's Interesting. A freshman can actually play meaningful snaps and still get a redshirt. Not sure how many quarters they get tho. It might be 6. Would love to see Lowell have a package of plays

They could have just threw him a bone and let him travel to see what a rowdy road game is like

If you play one snap you can no longer redshirt. Only exception is due to an injury.

That's my understanding of the rule as well. He could also play in a Bowl Game if I recall since it's technically after the end of the regular season.

Programs do this with all their redshirts.

Take them to at least one road game.

There were several designed runs for DE yesterday. If he goes down you better have more than one back up. I'd be willing to bet they brought him as a precaution.

That rule changed in the offseason. But I don't believe you can play past game 4 I have to look for the NCAA article again.
Looked it up and I was wrong it's going to be voted on in January. LINK

This is exactly why he traveled. JM won’t play this year. Needed 3 viable QBs with the run packages installed.

I trust that Canada has evaluated narcisse properly as the 3rd option. Narcisse did look the part on the sideline... other than his huge yawn.. id like to see him have a chance eventually as mobile qbs can really change a game

Bama shows you what the pros of DT QBs is

Even if thy can't throw thy can run.

If you are a pocket passer and you have a bad day throwing... you're a no threat QB

I tend to think that if Canada both though Narcisse was ready AND it was needed (takes both) we would be seeing Narcisse running wildcat packages several times a game.

Of course, knowing what we know now Orgeron might have nixed that.

Me personally, for a skill position in today's CFB a redshirt is not worth that much.

I would imagine we would not see that in the redzone just yet. We would see it non-redzone getting ready to become a redzone package later in the year.

Narcisse won’t play this year he’s going through the process.. he hasn’t took a real hit in a long time. I even heard CEO say that he doesn’t expect to play MB during SEC play

Narcisse and Brennan will both play a lot early next season regardless of who wins the starting job. I am a Brennan fan but I am excited to see what Narcisse can do as well.

Don't need to see either get meaningful snaps for the rest of the year. Give McMillan mop up duty. He's been a good soldier.

Considering we are going back to the Seamo next year and he could be playing, not a bad idea to let him experience it.

Apparently according to CBS he committed a Pass Interference penalty that was overturned on further review.

Scott traveled to Wisconsin last year. I didn't think that LN traveled yesterday

This is not popular, but it's hard to imagine LN staying.
