This argument really doesn't hold water this year. The SEC is having a down year and the Pac 12 is having their best year in a long time. Daniels also wasn't that special in the Pac 12. Both players improved throughout their careers. The argument should begin and end with the rushing yards, and the huge stats Daniels put up in his losses vs top 10 teams.

10% increase…, don’t see it happening in the SEC. However, I do agree with your point on his rushing yards needing to be the focus.

You're talking about completion percentage?
JD increased 7.2% from 2021 in the Pac 12 to this year in the SEC. Both improvements are impressive, but I guess I'm not understanding your point

Quit trying to make this a thing. Nix and JD both went from bad programs to good programs. That’s the difference

Nix became a better quarterback when he joined a conference that doesn’t play defense.

Nix and Daniels both are now seniors. It's just different.

What? Nix isn’t a running QB. Just compare Tom Brady and Michael Vick the same way, why don’t you.

Nix was the #2 dual threat QB behind Daniels.

not really.

UGA, Alabama, Missouri, Ole Miss are all good teams with 2 or less losses.

Pac 12 has Washington and Oregon.

No one else has less than 3 loses

They’re 1-2 against the SEC. Florida lost to Utah and then Cal lost to Auburn and Arizona (one of their best teams) Lost to Miss State.

Exactly, was. He’s throw first. Daniels is run first. Look, I want Jayden to win it as bad as anyone else here, I just thought the rushing comparison wasn’t very good.

Even assuming it’s true that the SEC is down and the PAC is up, that doesn’t automatically mean the PAC is better than the SEC.

SEC is 2-1 head to head.
SEC has 3 teams in the top 10, 5 in the top 15 and 6 total in the top 25. PAC has 2 in the top 10, 3 in the top 15, and 4 total in the top 25.

Nix wasn’t at LSU Since his freshman year Auburn is on their 3rd coach. He left a dumpster fire to go to stable program. Daniels also left a bad program for a chance to play for a better one

His passing completion percentage went up 10.9% in the year he moved to the PAC-12 from the SEC. How much of that was him becoming a better QB versus playing the speed of the SEC defenses?

Is the Pac 12 really that strong though? Or was that just a narrative the first month of the season?… Utah beating Florida stopped looking impressive, Colorado crashed back to earth, and USC got exposed. You rate Arizona (the team in 3rd place in the PAC 12 and lost to Mississippi State) and Oregon State that highly? USC is a joke. Utah and UCLA have 4 losses. Oregons non conference schedule is Portland St, Texas Tech and Hawaii.

Well damn, LSU was doing their part to make that happen for him.
