I mean I get where this is coming from but nah I’ll still be watching. We did opt out of season tickets though
LSU and those making these decisions are handling this whole think like a bunch of jackasses though

Your priorities are twisted. Without precautions, we would have many more dead LSU fans while we wait for the vaccine. We’re getting football at a risk as it is, but some precautions had to be taken. Without them everyone would get sick way before the vaccine, and about 3% of them would die (More than 30,000 people), and many more may have problem symptoms for months or more. We need to stave off the spread until medicine solves the virus. Let’s not kill off our fan base.

Nah it's really fricking stupid. LSU isn't the reason things have been limited, and more importantly LSU obviously doesn't want things this way next year. Also, not watching on TV isn't going to give them the idea they need to improve the in-person gameday atmosphere.

You do not encourage me, liar! So I'll fire back, given your idea of what you think encouragement is; I encourage you to please just go away. Please, stop your impetuous drivel. You obviously don't know what it means to be a true fan, because it has nothing to do with tailgating or sitting in the stands or for the most part anything to really do with the fan.
I love LSU and LSU's athletics and will support every minute of any LSU sports team that plays. The fan experience has not been stripped, at the end of the day the football season is about football, the things that have been stripped for you are the extra things that just add to an individual's own personal experience. All you need to watch or listen to football is an eye and an ear.
Football season is about football, not tailgating (which is wonderful), not about how many fans are in the stadium, not about the length of the schedule, it is about football. So if you don't love football and don't want to support LSU you don't have to. But I will and I encourage all those who love LSU with a passion to watch every second that they can and to enjoy the beautiful masterful art of football once more.

I actually can very well make decisions on how to live my life. I CHOSE to opt out of my tickets for the year....I won’t be sitting in Tiger stadium this year for the first time in 15 years...but I am damn sure gonna watch my Tigers play on tv every chance I get.

Your boycott is really going to change things. Keep believing.

We opted out of our tickets for this season for several reasons, one of which was that we couldn’t see ourselves driving almost 16 hours round trip for a watered down LSU football experience. Mandated mask wearing everywhere on campus, no tailgating or socializing with friends, a tiny version of the band in the stands, etc. I saw a video of the smaller Tiger Band practicing with the reduced cheerleading squad and it looked and sounded like a high school game.

Seriously, that has never resonated with Louisianans.

Dude, it has nothing to do with public health/safety. It’s all about limiting liability. These corps, businesses HAVE to follow the guidelines or risk being sued into bankruptcy. It just is what it is. Geaux Tigers!

I do get what you’re saying and certainly respect your right to do it. I’m not at that point yet. However, if LSU displays marxist BLM branding in any way or allows it’s players to kneel during the national anthem then I turn the game OFF. In football the players are in the locker room when the anthem is played. That is not the case in every sport. Don’t trample my flag and those that died for it. They can kneel any other time. I’m 100% in support of the black cause.
I’m OK if they give players that want to make a statement a moment of silence or even play the black national anthem. Just don’t kneel during America’s national anthem and don’t show support for a marxist organization BLM. For those that aren’t aware BLM is a marxist organization, Google it. It’s written in their charter. 3 of BLM founders are avowed marxist. I pray LSU does not make me choose. I will choose America.

Thanks for finally getting over a young man choosing a school of his choice.

You should add not posting to the board to your hissy-fit-list. Have fun with that & good riddance :).
