I know he doesn’t want to be putting plays like this on film for NFL executives

Gotta be hurt

If he is hurt it is not fair to him to put him on the field.
If not the regression is amazing.

He has flashes but needs to play smarter.

Some might say, he’s playing too smart

I think he’s still hurt. Needs to take Arkansas game off. I feel like Rashard Lawrence is always limping too. Both need to take Arkansas off

I remember last week we were panicking about his availability for Bama... Honestly...maybe he needs some time on the bench. He's obviously not playing at the All-American level we were expecting, but beyond even that, he's a flat out liability lately.

His tackling has been terrible all year. Not sure what's going on with him. We all know that dude can ball. Not sure why he hasn't been showing it.

I've noticed open-field whiffs that would get a you benched on a HS freeman team.

From the beginning of the season - sum ting wong

Business decision

If it was a business decision he wouldn’t be out there.
He’s been hurt since before season started.
He’s been trying to gut it out while others have taken games off.
He knows he’s hurting draft stock, but still plays every week because he wants to win SEC and get in playoff.
Make a decision on him after he gets a month to heal and get healthy in the 3 week break between SEC game and next game.

I think so too, I don’t think it’s because he’s looking to the NFL. If he was, this is his money year and he would need to ball out.

Losing Harris was a bigger deal than we realized. Divinity was also a big hit.

He’s hurt. But putting in Monroe wouldn’t be worse. Delpit is still a great player

One of the former players on the post-game radio show said he thinks that Delpit is still feeling the effects of his injury. He said when you’re hurt, you are hesitant to commit yourself fully on the play, and to the casual observer it looks like you are not trying. If this is indeed the case, he needs to sit until he heals.

If he’s hurt then he needs to sit. He’s a liability at this point. He isn’t doing the team of himself any favors by “gutting it out”. He is genuinely terrible out there.

Saw that double clutch he did with his plant foot? See him let up after? Notice hes throwing his body at defenders instead of planting his feet and driving through the tackles?

Hes protecting his injury. Its obvious and if its obvious to me on my couch, its obvious to scouts....AND opposing defenses which is why I dont understand why hes out there. Makes me shudder to think what they dont have behind him on the depth chart.

He is one of my favorite players but there is definitely something off. I know he is banged up a bit but mistakes like the one showed in the video at the top of this post are high school mistakes and he made at least three just like this that cost the D huge plays. It makes me think his head is some where else. I’m not saying it’s on the NFL it just may be something a little deeper.

I think he needs to sit till SECCG.
He wasn't rightthere in Bama game and he wasn't a factor in this game.

He wasgood this season till he got hurt.

Why is everyone so surprised?!? He has taken bad angles and tackled poorly from the beginning of his time here. It’s really not a new thing.
