If you had asked me if we had enough staff to go to Omaha and beat Tennessee, Wake Forrest and Florida all twice and also while fighting out of the losers bracket I say absolutely no way in hell we could do all that.

I did absolutely believe in our offense to be able to score and play with anyone though but for our staff to have stepped up they way they did for a truly historic run it was definitely really fun to be a part of.
Lots of confidence moving forward that Jay finds guys that are also mentally tough to take on these seasons and always be focused on the main goal.

What a damn season. Geaux Tigers

I don't think many outside of the team thought it was possible after we lost the 2nd game to Wake Forest. But it made the ride all so much sweeter!!!

The improbability of that run is something we shouldn’t take for granted. Sure, we all thought it could happen, but the realization of the shear amount of heroics, drama, luck, and skill, in addition to the coach pulling all the right strings at just the right times, is overwhelming to comprehend after the fact in a way that perhaps wasn’t apparent in the moment

What an unbelievable ride

We had some epic clutch pitching performances.

And the funny thing was our offense was failing to score runs and games were closer than they should have been. The pitching really stepped up. They answered the challenge.

This would have been a totally different thread had you not informed us that you are “Not even gonna lie”. I’m sure half the readers, at least, would have had the mistaken impression that you were, indeed, lying.

Well as you are correct in that statement, it did help tip us off that you are a super D-bag tough

We had some clutch hitting also, but this is the reason we won it all.

Besides the 2nd game against Florida, they were nails. We didn’t have to score much fortunately to win.

We won a best of 3 against Florida without Skenes. The Tigers were on a mission!

It was one of those predestined seasons like 2019.

One thing for certain is our pitching staff looks better next year. Taylor, Edwards, and transfer coming in 24. LSU might have deepest rotation in SEC.

I thought I heard Edwards may go in the draft.

Remember when half of us didn't even want Wake Forest to get to Omaha?

And we weren't wrong.

Thank God for Tre Morgan.

And after what we saw yesterday Hurd has the “it” now. It wasn’t around all season but I think his mind is right now to focus on getting better more consistent and will be a Top pitcher picked in 24’ if he lights it up like he can.
He will headline our Friday nights.

We weren't, but it feels good to have beaten them. This year, there is absolutely no question. The Champs aren't just the team that played the best at the right time, it was the best team for the whole season, other than a 2 week or so stretch.
