All i see in this thread is a bunch of whiny, bitchy vaginas. Who gives a shite about last season or the year before or even the frickin' year before that? It's a new season....take out your tampons, strap your balls back on and stop bitching like a little woman.

Choctaw,

You are taking the vagina analogy to an extreme!

I will admit that I plagarized you the other day with your "ice down your pussy" line, albeit in a different context.

he was riding the bench before he was hurt and frankly he hasn't shown anything in a real game.

my thread is certainly not to trash Murphy, I love his heart and have a sincere appreciation for everything he's been through. But he rode the bench before and now he's rehabbing a knee and expecting to start his Senior year. I wish him all the best in the world and hope he makes ALL-SEC. But realistically, he'll be lucky to gain 400 yards rushing this year.

Actually RB's is one of the positions that I am least worried about. I'd be more concerned with making sure the coaches put in the correct RB.

I AM "emotionally invested" in LSU football.

Unconditionally.

It's been frustrating, agonizing and painful over the last 41 years, as well as the good times.

So, you "will wait for them to show you something" before you get "emotionally invested," eh?

That's the very personification of the "bandwagon fan" that this fanbase has been infested with, and has way too many of, since 2003/2007.

if only you had the ability to understand the last two seasons. the maturation curve needed to be successful in the $EC is finally getting back in sync and I expect to see better play across the board. Not because some media hack says so...but because we have talented kids who have been bloodied and bruised and are now ready for some payback. does this guarantee 10 wins or a division title? no, there are no guarantees...only the opportunity to prove that you belong. I, for one, am excited about that opportunity...while you chose the path of least commitment. to each his own.

The elite programs don't survive on the 'good' fans.

'Good' fans are good fans because they've been through the thick and thin, the good and the bad.

If the interest in LSU is coming from only the 'good' fans, there's a good chance we're getting our asses kicked.

I want to see more bad fans.

We don't need your kind of fan here.....it is destroying the LSU fanbase that once upon a time was what set LSU apart from every other school. Now, our fans mostly suck because of the negatigers. Sad.

Negatigers don't have any input on how the team performs. They don't manage the clock. They don't call timouts, or call the plays. They cheer when the team plays well and bitch when we screw up.

Sounds like you have a healthy handle on reality. Too bad that isn't real common here.

Football is not war and we all applaud your service to us and our country. Although, the freedom you allow all of us is to have the choice to put LSU football above everything else. That's what you give us the right to do and you should be proud of that. Thanks!

We're not even ranked in SI's top 25.

Is LSU ranked in any other polls? If so why did you choose to point out the SI poll?

But i damn sure am not going to be on here bashing the coaches/players and giving up all hope before the first damn game is played. I have more loyalty, more intelligence, and more optimism to do that. People like you suck. You thrive off of negativity. I just hope you have the balls to admit when you are wrong...but sadly, people like you don't.

Couldn't agree more. Good stuff.

What f'ing hype are you talking about???

A couple of pieces about players stepping into starting roles? No shite. Is this your 1st year to follow college football? What do you want them to write about?

I haven't been reading hype. Everyone is being pretty critical of the program, as they should.

Seriously,
