Does or should Hal Hughes’s performance have anything to do with how much playing time Hampton receives this season? No. And you’re a moron.
Exactly what I was thinking. What the hell does a center fielders playing time have to do with a short stops playing time?

Good god, the depth. If healthy, could this be our deepest bullpen under CPM?
I don’t want to get my hopes up just yet.
STOP GETTING MY HOPES UP DAMNIT!

Man, just think about if Hill manages to work his way into the weekend rotation. That would mean Henry, Marceaux, Hill, Labas, and Walker all as potential starters, meaning three weekend starters, a midweek guy, and a long reliever/starter in a tournament. That’s insane.

Yeah just the 23rd player overall rated by perfect game... and the 3rd player overall that actually made it to a campus... WTF are you talking about
I just went back and read through the thread to see where I said that, and read the context it was posted in and I didn't see the post (maybe I overlooked it). I read a few post where I said Hampton will be given a shot, and will be hard to keep off the field.
Can you point out the post you quoted to me? It seems you are melting over nothing.

So, I went back read every post made in the thread about Hampton, and they are quoted below. So, where did you get that quote from?
quote:
Then there is Hampton. He will be behind, but he could come in and take an OF position. He may be hard to keep off the field once he gets going
quote:
What are you basing this off of? You realize that if it wasn't for football, he would have probably been drafted very high in professional baseball right out of high school right?
I don't know exactly how much he contributes, but he is going to be difficult to keep off the diamond
quote:
Hampton will get his shot, and just a gut feeling, he will eventually take this spot
quote:
I don't know if he will be a day one starter

It shows my post that he's replying to?

Yes, it will jump to your post that he's replying to.

That must be a benefit of your TD premium membership. When I click his name on that post it takes me to his post history. Or I'm just a dumbass.
It's probably both.

Ahh thanks. I see it now. I'm a dumbass.
But, the poster who quoted me saying that was replying to a quote I was replying to from someone else. So I was not saying that, I was replying to somebody else saying it. So, although I'm a dumbass, I'm not as big of one as that dude.

Well, to be fair, I have never really had a need to know this. It's usually quoted. Either that, or I spent my boredom time at work in 1-2 threads and I know exactly what's going on, and usually know who my trolls are directed at. It might be 13 years before I use it again.
