our defense was embarrassing Jay's first year. Until a late season turnaround, we had been hovering around a .950 team field %. Thompson and Doughty combined for 32 errors in the middle of our infield, and Berry/Merrifield had 12 more at third. Cranford also had 5 errors at 2nd in limited playing time. And that doesn't even include Mcmanus being unable to keep balls in the dirt in front of him
