LSU License Plate Information
This is a link to the LSU plate program. My favorite is the ones with the picture of Mikes head and LSU underneath. Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana have them. Good luck on the campaign
Edited to include the correct link to the program

Our point guy has coordinated with LSU Trademark and NC DMV... it's surprising how many details have to be considered in just what can be in the logo used. Really wanted the Tiger Eye or Tiger Head for LSU fans here, but the large majority of the university plates here have a school letters type logo. There are currently 6 other SEC schools that currently have a NC plate: Florida, Georgia, SCar, Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn.

We got them in Alabama a couple years ago. Have mine on my 1993 Ford PU.

Of course it is. All specialty plates cost extra.

Want to see what plate looks like before submitting and they do look awesome.

Other than Texas what other states offer LSU specialty plates?

Hopefully y’all meet the mark, I’m hoping we get them in Virginia before too long, also I’m working on adding them all, even registering one vehicle back in Louisiana to collect up on the new ones, since it’s like pulling teeth to get family to help out!

BUMP
LSU NC License plate
We are in the final stretch, need a few more if you know anyone who can help! Absolute final deadline for us is Wednesday midnight.
(This will require a VIN & from be submitted later, for now it's a $30.96 charge to get it going.)

My NC plate is signature full. How is that going to work?

Hope y'all get it done.
Texas has this as an option...

That Texas one is awesome. (Other than the word Texas, of course.)

I did my part a couple of months ago. This is the second petition for the plate in North Carolina. Surprised the first one failed and disappointed that you had to bump the thread. 300 deposits state wide is not a big number.

Sorry, I don't understand the term "signature full"? If you mean that you have a personalized plate with the full 8 characters, the specialty plates only allow 4 characters due to the logo on the left.

Thanks. The first one was at least 10 years ago and not really coordinated/supported by the main alumni association. This time we've had mass emails and social media ads since mid December, and yeah we really thought we'd be there by now.

The plate leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of people aren’t interested because of that.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm sending that back to the team. It's what we got, not what we want. Unfortunately I don't think the state allows anywhere close to what we want, i.e. the Texas examples.

Thank you sorry about that but yes personalized is the proper term. I have 7 characters plus a space 13 RANKS. So doesn't appear it will work out for me.
