I will be the Aubie stadium on Saturday. Looking forward to another Tiger (LSU) sweep (hopefully).
Capacity was 67,500 - Yes - I was Freshman in 1964

The seats were wood, not aluminum - Yep

Adult male fans wore a suit and tie to the game - Never noiced at least not in student section. Of course, I was 17 Years old and did not own a coat or tie.

Freshmen were required to wear pajamas and beanie hats - First game only - It was a ROTC thing. Cadets Formed up in field where Maravich Center is today and marched into stadium - Game was with A&M. LSU won
More like 20 that I know of.
A big group of LSU fans from Montgomery AL area driving up to Hoover today.
Yes, as a freshman in 1964, had to wear PJ's (ROTC) vs TA&M. Missed only one game until grad.
Yes I am. 90 minute drive for me.
We got them in Alabama a couple years ago. Have mine on my 1993 Ford PU.
I'm 76 so I remember 1958 (barely). Going all that time, the 2003 Championship was by far the best to me. Waiting 45 years will do that to you.
I was #165 last November. BAMA fans here will go blind when they see these plates.
AS freshman 1964, roomed in North Stadium, 2nd floor, last room before West Stadium, right over student gate.
I'm 73. Worked in Broussard Hall dining room for 1.5 years. Rubbed elbows with a many, Cholly Mac once told me (while i was serving orange juice) that I looked like a QB he had back in the day.

Was soph when Maravich was freshman. Loved big Remi Prudomme (sp) and Mike Robichax (sp) (a walk-on that did really well). Think he may have made all SEC
1968 - LSU vs Ole MIss. LSU scores late and Manning brings them back in last minute to win. One of our DB's drops an easy interception at 50 yard line on that drive.
Up to 2 years ago I watch ESPN every morning. I got fed up with their political BS and left ESPN for FS1.
I've watched him play since he was a ninth grader for Mountainbrook HS. I attended each of the state championship games he played in plus a bunch of others since my granddaughters also attended Mountainbrook.

BTW - The school is NOT in Birmingham, its the only school in the city of Mountainbrook (right outside of BHM) just as Hoover is a separate city south of BHM. The BHM schools are very bad both academically and athletically.

I was very pleasantly surprised to have him commit to play for LSU. LSU fans will be very surprised at how skilled he is - a great ball handler, shooter and athlete. Most importantly he is a great team member and very coachable.

Geaux Tigers
I attended the AL 7A championship game last night. Watfords Mountainbrok team won easily. He played very well but did not hit 3 pointers as he normally does but did end up as MVP just he did last year. I’ve watched him play for 4 years and I am hopeful he commits to the good guys.
