Do people really hate Hanagriff? I understand people disliking Hawthorne, but Charles seems to do a decent job.

I like Charlie doing the games. Pair him with someone like Rantz or Coogan who also actually understands the games and its great.

I just hate Hawthorne. His ignorance in baseball is glaring and it kills me. Charlie get a bad rap since he's Jim's main partner.

Yeah same here. I thoroughly enjoy Hanagriff. Hawthorne is brutal. Anybody, just anybody needs to take his place for baseball.

Right, Charles would be even better if he didn't have to carry the broadcast as the only source of knowledge.
Put him as the play by play guy where he only has to drop occasional stats/facts while the color guy discusses situations, strategy, etc.

For home games I prefer like Charles with Ben, then Coogan, lastly Rantz.
Since it's a road game, we should get Charles & Bill Franques.
