Yes, they’re the defending National Champs, coming off arguably the best season ever. That’s what makes them so attractive as an opponent. “Nobody thinks we can beat them,” is an easy selling point in Mark Stoops’ locker room. The National Champs factor adds even more juice. Derek Stingley and Ja’Marr Chase are as good as it gets, but they must replace almost everyone else and forgive me for not being scared of Myles Brennan.

That’s a poor choice of wording at the end about Brennan but everything else said is spot on.

He's done nothing to warrant fear.
Same thing with Burrow ahead of 2019, and that's ok. Maybe Brennan has the same jump, maybe he doesn't.
This board has been very thin-skinned lately when it comes to what other teams/fans think of Brenna.

If any other team had a career backup taking over for the arguably the best QB of all-time, our fans would be pushing that player aside just like Brennan.
