I think he's an SEC quality quarterback athlete and not much else. He's not going to out run anyone on this defense other than maybe a DT or two.

Baker has given up an average of 34 ppg against ranked teams not named Clemson. He has not shown the ability to stop an offense with a pulse

That’s a weird stat, we don’t we get credit for shutting down Florida? And why not at Clemson?
I get the D couldn’t get the job done and it’s been tough but Ty Simpson is nowhere near the threat (w his legs) than the 3 guys that beat us.
That’s a meaningful difference, we have great cover guys in the secondary. Better than anyone bama has faced, including UGA or Tenn.

Correct. Any team with a pulse on offense (top 50 offense) Baker cannot stop. Bama will put up over 40 with ease.

I would agree with this if it wasn't announced that Garrett is starting. Their defense will eat him alive.

Frank bout to get this teams mind right. I don’t like our chances with Nuss at qb but I feel confident this team bout to fight harder than we have seen them fight in a long time.
