Yea, don't listen to the rest of these morons. Championship DVDs are not so that you have the championship game. They're generally a story of the whole season with highlights AND commentary. I'd like to have one as well, since that's not something you're going to get on youtube................and I'd like to add it to my collection too.

hear hear. what's funny is if you actually play a CD or DVD in a car with a halfway decent sound system, you can INSTANTLY hear a quality difference compared to most streaming sources, especially if bluetooth.

bottom line however, is that most people don't care so much about the last 10% of picture quality and are happy with a 1080 signal upscaled on their $199 4k special.

those people have never seen the Planet Earth blu-ray on a top-end Sony OLED though. it's STUNNING.

i was SO pumped hearing that the NAT was broadcast in 4k. that means SOMEBODY recorded it in 4K. Some way, somehow I've gotta get a copy of that recording on a legit blu-ray source. not Netflix 4k. or anything else "faux 4K" streaming at 5Mbps.

I got the 07 national championship DVD as a Christmas gift this past year. I was finally lucky enough to locate the dvd player last weekend but I couldn't locate all the wires. There's still a place for dvds. Sure you can find it on youtube most of the time but sometimes the quality sucks.
