I’d much rather see Notre Dame in instead of James Madison. However, if you they want to cry about Notre Dame, not making the playoffs, then they should absolutely be in a conference. Hypothetically, if they were in the ACC, they would’ve played in the championship game and would’ve likely won and would’ve likely been in the CFP. So that’s their choice not to join a conference which hurts their chances at getting in the playoff.

Whether you like them or not they should be in. They lost 2 games to teams that were highly ranked. Bama should not be in; they lost 3 games including a loss to a horrible Florida State team. Notre Dame would beat Alabama. James Madison should not be in. Another team that is getting screwed is Vandy.
