The buck stops with him...
Like O use to say..that's on Me
Nobody wants to hear that..what we want to hear is "this is how I'm gonna fix it!

That "moron" won the national title with the best college football team ever...call him whatever you want but you can't take that away from him. I think if he doesn't get divorced and doesn't go through a mid life crisis he would've been able to continue a good ride here.

I think he's grasping for straws at this point. The situation is what it is. Now you have to make changes to fit the situation. He should come out and try a 2-3 or 1-3-1 zone defense to see if that would work. Can't be any worse than us giving up wide open 3's.

Wade is a mediocre coach. One day you nut huggers will see that

Coached the best football season in COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY but he was unqualified
Completely unqualified. Joe Burrow and Dave Aranda deserve a ton of credit for that title. His record every year outside of 2019 is who he is.

This board is a joke. It loves to pile on Wade every time we lose a game.
No things haven’t been perfect and yes Wade deserves some blame.
Stop acting like we’re an established basketball superpower that can scoff at anything less than being a top 10 team in the country. Suggesting that Wade should be fired after what LSU basketball was before he got here is just laughable

On defense teams have figured LSU out. But there has not appeared to be any counter-adjustments on LSU's part if the fact they have been completely destroyed by 3 poor offensive teams in a row is any evidence.
This to me is Wade's biggest failing this year. I do tend to agree that we haven't adjusted as much offensively as we probably should have, but I think that was a product of expecting Pinson back quicker than ended up happening and not wanting to put too much change into what is an offensively challenged team to start with. Defensively, I think is where he's made his biggest mistakes. It's become pretty obvious teams have figured out how to get a ball handler isolated on our big guys with out constant switching, which leads to mismatches that usually cause others to have to help leading to wide open shots. I think he either needs to quit playing Reid as much or consider switching defenses on occasion. No reason we can't play some zone. Our athleticism in a trapping 1-3-1 would be fun to see.

Joe Burrow and Dave Aranda covered up all of O’s warts.
O let his personal life affect his coaching life and it was time for him to go. But our offense was pretty crappy when he first took over and even though other people told him about Brady and Burrow, he could have just been stubborn and said Coach E and Myles were good enough on offense and not pursued them.
He didn't do that though and he did pursue them (especially Burrow). He had to sell Burrow on why he should come to LSU, etc., rather than staying nearby and going to Cincy. So although it went to crap fast after 2019, there was a time when O actually tried to improve/fix things and it worked. He clearly had some good fortune too, but he allowed the good fortune to take place by taking some chances to improve things.

WE have had no bad year under WW. And MBB at LSU has no tradition of winning BIG like LSU Football had when O took over.
If WW has two straight "loser" seasons like O did, he'd be gone like O is.

full court press (which WORKED against Vandy).
We had back to back steals vs Vandy with 4 pts off of turnovers and then he called it off ???
At this point you have nothing to lose. I say after the first made basket go into full court press to pressure the aggies into turning it over and getting some points off of it. If it doesn't work go back to regular defense.

My very next sentence stated that that was sarcasm. Some of y'all have some reading comprehension issues.

People (and Wade) will say he got too many bigs. But did he?
Too many prima donnas.
When we consistently start off down 20 to Ole Miss, Vandy and other terrible teams it's obvious some of our highly-praised recruits did not come to play. That's why you need monkey wrench players like Oliver Brown, Dennis Tracey, Russell Grant etc ... guys that aren't that talented but will play hard. When you lose 6 out of 7 nobody should have a reserved spot in the starting lineup. We have too wide of a gap between our 5/6 "elite" players and Parker Edwards.

Just try a lot of different things to see what works. And that might change from game to game, and even within a game.
Coaches have to be able to adjust on the fly, in the middle of a game.
Between Wade and his assistants, don't they have any new ideas to at least try???

Can the “Extend tPear” and “pay him more” threads stop too then?

"So why keep trying to force square pegs into round holes?"
Where have we heard that before? (Les Miles and SPRH quarterback recruiting)
I'm an LSU Alum that's willing to give him one more season, but I don't care for what I've seen out of his roster management and Game x's & o's.
How long does it take to "learn" game management? Those skills should already be in place when you are hired to be the HC of any major University. All the coaching skills should already be there from his time as the VCU HC.
If he can't put it all together next season with the infusion of all that talent, it will probably be time for SW to pull the plug and you can bet that SW is already doing his due diligence behind closed doors. (His process brought us Mulkey, Johnson and Kelly, so no need to have concerns about hiring a men's basketball HC)
