Overthrown, underthrown, late thrown....

Coaches can't call the plays and run them too.

Sure passes were dropped.

Once again, JD thought he was playing for ASU, not LSU.

I don’t think he’s the answer but he didn’t play as bad as you make it out to be. It comes down to coaching. We played a possession style conservative gameplan in a game that needed a game breaker performance like he did vs Florida. If they sitck with him it will need to open up like that game. We are good but not as good as Kelly thought…

We played possession style offense….but couldn’t keep possession of the ball….

We played that style because that’s all JD is comfortable throwing: dinks and dunks….

We were 3/10 of third down conversions. That’s not going to get you in the end zone….

Tbf, I agree with you.

It wasn’t the right idea. I’ve said the same in other posts. The hope is that Kelly is smart enough to realize that this won’t cut it unlike others before him.

I think he makes the right adjustments

We also has like 3 or 4 drops beyond the first down marker on third down. Not defending the conservative throws but it's not like Daniels wasn't doing his job well.

Welcome to 5 years of JD.

Good kid, great athlete, terrible QB.

Don’t worry. When he puts up Xbox type numbers against grambling all the he’s got it figured out post will start.

Tbh I wouldn’t even expect that against grambling, and I think we will run it a lot. Hopefully Nuss gets his chance and runs with it

The team had several glaring issues. Daniels does bring a threat of the run, but he is so limited in downfield passing that the defense doesn't respect it. I'm not sure I saw a throw with any receiver in stride. It was all comebacks to the ball. Multiple times I saw receivers telling him to put air under the ball. If Daniels the best we have, then next year will not meet expectations either.

This. We are hamstrung with his limited capabilities.

JD has his limitations, and there probably is a ceiling with him leading the offense but to watch Denbrock call a game is excruciating.

He goes to so many things JD doesn't do well. No feel for the game. His run game concepts are elementary. Goes away from things that are working, and his route concepts are a fricking joke. Rewatching the game I came away more mad at the offense overall than JD.

I hope you aren't including the BT "drop" in these numbers. Also, I'd like to point out the awful throws to Nabers before the halftime. JD was not necessarily the biggest problem, but he also wasn't really good either.

he had a "game breaker performance" against Florida because Florida is garbage now.

That Bryan Thomas sideline throw was seventh grade bad. Late, low, and of course...uncatchable.

No emotion on JD's face...he's a mutant....nothing matters- nothing gets him upset...like it just doesn't matter.

I know you're not supposed to play emotional, but damn, when are you going to give a shite?
