I'm not sure I saw a throw with any receiver in stride.

This is wrong. Last year he would throw behind receivers. He was hitting them in stride, but the further away they got, he could not throw it where he needed to give his guy the best chance.

I've asked twice what he did consistently that was so terrible. No answers yet--just a lot of drive-by downvotes.

Would you rather him throw a fit?

He looked plenty frustrated late in the game. I'm sure he was feeling it the same as everyone. Does no good to pound your fist and make Jordan Jefferson faces.

I'm not saying its his fault, but throwing 2 or 3 yard dump passes on 3rd and long or 4th down deserves high criticism! That's just terrible football.

The post is about JD's passing ability, not to blame him soley for the loss.

I blame Brian Kelly for the loss. It's his job to make sure the players are ready to play, that the offense presents the best opportunities to score and that decisions of when to kick a field goal rather than go for it on 4th down are all his.

I feel like what is best for the offense moving forward is to utilize JD only in special formations with him as a slot back where he has an ability to run from scrimmage, catch in short yardage and run, or even throw occasionally to a deep cross. Using him only creatively while sticking with Nuss under center. Sort of how the saints use Taysom.
