Just proof that ESPN does what is better for its business. They won't pick a CBS game to promote if they don't have to.

They know that the LSU v BAMA game is the most intriguing of the week, so what do they do? They don't try to pass off another game as being better, they give the excuse for missing one of the best games of the year as "supporting our troops for veterans day"... Not bad business, but I wish they would give up the charade that the pick the best games.

Corso probably just watched Deliverance one to many times and is kind of leery about going to Bama.

It would be kind of funny if they got a heavy snowfall at AFA.

Dude, its for veterans day! The armed forces that protect the freedoms you take for granted! Have some respect! I'm upset as well but one of the few people I would let it slide for is the armed forces. And if ESPN hated the SEC they wouldn't have gotten the contract they have

One week too early. We got almost 2 feet today. The wind chill was in the low teens.

Good for ESPN finally they do something right!!! If the complaining hippies don't understand why they would do this please talk to a Veteran. What difference does it make in the world where ESPN College Gameday televises from? At least they are honoring these great young men that have not only volunteered to serve this country after the football season is complete but also entertain you on Saturday's. Don't be a douchebag!

They are honoring our troops that to me > LSU/Bama game by 100 times. They serve our country with pride while playing for us every saturday. They might not be as good as the elite teams but what they do in their off time trumps anything happening in college football.

I've said this SO many damn times: WHo gives a shite about gameday? It's a shitty show with a bunch of highlights of teams I don't care about with some douches who don't know any more about football than most fans. I usually hear "it's great exposure for our school/campus" Well this game is in Tuscaloosa, so whatcha got? It really is pathetic that some of you "fans" get so upset about this. ESPN dosn't hate the SEC. If they did they wouldn't have just dropped millions of dollars to carry almost every SEC game, other than the best game each week. You know ESPN/ABC would Kill to have ALL the SEC games but CBS has that one game a week (execpt 1 weekend) and they are gonna hold tight to it. You honestly think ESPN/ABC would rather show Texas vs some big 12 shite rather than LSU/BAMA?
