I think we are looking at a 3-6 matchup with ULL. Hopefully we are matched up with ND in the second round as they are likely to be hosting NCAAW Tournament games. Would love a rematch with the Irish in the PMAC.

PMAC. No way ULL is a #3 seed.
It is possible that ULL could climb to a #4 seed and host a #5 seed LSU, but very unlikely. If these two matchup in the first round, I expect it to be in Baton Rouge.

Notre Dame will be a 1 seed in the NIT.

More than likely ND will be a #1 seed. Since LSU is likely to fall in the 3-5 seed range, keep an eye on schools that may not be able to host because of NCAAW's games, such as Louisville, ND and Baylor.

You obviously didn’t read his full post; or your reading comprehension just sucks. He also stated that ND would likely be hosting women’s tournament games, which means, if true, then ND would unlikely be able to host an NIT game even though they are the higher seed. This has happened to plenty of teams in the NIT in the past, including LSU.
Therefore, he is saying he wouldn’t mind catching ND on our home court (where we play better) in a rematch from Maui.

I wonder if the team and coaches will be hanging out together to watch the selection show?
When we were in NCAAT a few years ago, I asked CJJ what they’d organized for watching the selection show. They did nothing. I thought that was sad. It should’ve been a time of excitement and fun.

ummm, they all watched it together. in fact, they showed our team watching from a few years ago during the montage CBS put together before the teams were announced this evening.
