He needs to have a meeting with her.

"Coach, tell me what is keeping you from achieving excellence here at LSU, and if there's something more this athletic department can do to support you realize those expectations."

And let her answer that she's received all the support necessary from LSU, thereby admitting the fault is hers.

She has gotten a lot more financial support and resources than what Pokey worked with in the early 2000's

Pokey has been terrible in the WNBA

Coaching professionals and a college program are not even remotely close

WNBA coaching should be taken with a grain of salt tbh considering some rosters are far beyond stacked than others.

Fargas has had 10 years at 7.8M in salary and her performance has been very low mediocre. There should be no further evaluation needed. In fact she is apt to work even less, IMHO.

So now that she is being managed SHE IS GOING TO WORK?

At Tennessee, none of her philosophy would have gone past 3 years. She is just not working and everyone who has followed the program, under Fargas' leadership, knows this is the problem. She has taken enough money from LSU and not worked for it. Alleva is responsible for this injustice. F. King too.

Bring in Kramer’s mom.
Hire Pokey as her assistant.

Agree, Fargas needs to go, and yes indeed, Kramer's mom is the one to grab! Woody may already have her in his pocket.

Can we think of any other tremendously successful college coaches that flopped in the pros? Hmmm

Do what it takes to bring Kim Mulkey home!! There is no reason that Baylor should be able to pay that kind of money and LSU can't.

The Mississippi State and Louisville HC's (WBB) are good choices too. They work hard and do not take their salary for granted.

Schaeffer arrived in Starkville and immediately establish his mark, he recruited and coached the talent on hand. He did not neglect his responsibilities.

Schaeffer makes less than Caldwell and so does the Louisville HC.

Mulkey is a Louisiana person and excellent coach with intellect and work ethic. However, her eye teeth were cut in Ruston and she is probably not going to leave her situation in Waco. She has a daughter assistant and a new grandbaby, born there. I just do not see her coming to Louisiana. But I do not know that.....

I thought Pokey moved to the WNBA because she already had WBB licked?

You don't know how Kim and Pokey clashed at a game....I think Pokey said something sexual at the start of a game and Kim went to Skip about it......Pokey was forced to apologize.

Mulkey didn't like losing Allison Hightower to Pokey
