Has PM made any comments on these two lately? Hill being out this long has me worried. We knew Storz would be late april early may due to the surgery he had.

Last I saw (last week) Storz is pitching off a mound but will still be a couple of weeks
Hill was a few weeks, no time table

Gavin Dugas is taking ground balls. He hit without pain the last three days, but he’s still a week from getting cleared by doctors. #LSU

It would be great to get Hill & Dugas back 100% healthy before postseason play

Would be a bonus if Gilbert was available

Is there a reason Storz can't bat?

They probably feel like he wouldn't provide much at DH over what we currently put out there if Cabrera is in OF and DiGiacomo at DH.

However, Saul Garza has gotten 15 starts at DH, and well, we might as well try Storz in those cases

I can only assume it's for health reasons and not wanting him getting ABs (and all the practice that goes into it) interfering with him getting back on the mound.

At this point i just dont expect to see them back on the mound. Just because more times than not when there is arm soreness and then a setback (hill), it feels more likely we dont see those players again the rest of the year. Hope im wrong

shite might as well try anybody in those cases.....honestly at this point I feel more confident with Todd Peterson at the plate before Garza or Mathis.
