Had Nussmeier stayed on the 20, he isn't sacked. He turned into arse this year.

Josh Booty would never make that kind of bonehead move

I will never understand why he has always been so afraid to step up.

Even last year during his "good" season, he never stepped up and would always throw off his backfoot.

Great guy & great competitor. It pains me to see all the disrespect Josh gets on this site. And to think he gave up what could have been a lucrative baseball career to become a Tiger

How he thought turning his back to the los when he had quite a good pocket to step into is really kinda weird. No QB ever is taught to do what he did on that play. JD would have probably scored on that play.
Really bad instincts

The only reasoning I’ve come to with Nuss this year is that he was injured to start the year, developed REALLY bad mechanics trying to overcompensate, and the bad mechanics stayed.

He’s never been great in the pocket, but his pocket awareness this year has been putrid.

There are legitimately 50 other quarterbacks in college football that are better than him.

Don't remember who the RB was on that play. Looks like Johnson but if Nuss steps up and waits just 1 more second Johnson releases and he could have dumped it to him and maybe he scores or possibly someone opens up in the endzone. That's almost as bad as the one where he had an eternity to throw and couldn't find anyone yet replay showed Zavion wide open with no one within 10 yds of him.

there are 125 better than him

And if Chambliss is the kind of talent in D3 then even more than that

I still haven't forgiven his dad for sending recruits newspaper stories about crime in Baton Rouge when he was on staff at Alabama.

That play was an instant classic in the LSU Hall of Shame. It hard not to laugh when he just lights out for their end zone.

why turn into that sack? he's right handed and has room to the right if he wants to scramble.

Honestly that was my first reaction. Trying to take us out of good field position on purpose.

Regardless of any of that, Nuss should have been benched mid game against Ole Miss and not allowed to play again. He is clearly hurt and is playing terribly. But then you've got people like Moscona who wants Nuss to play the rest of the year so we can save Van Buren's red shirt. In other words, fans like Moscona are totally fine with watching this crap for another month and losing games because of it. I'm sure that is really good for finding a new HC and getting recruits and transfers. Look as bad as you can to attract top tier talent. LOL.

Maybe not LSU, but he might care more about Ben. Ben Franklin that is!

Nah, just kidding. No way he comes back to coaching.
