LSU does play Nicholls next year in football. But that sport is a different animal. The game won’t be close.

McMahon’s time management and lineups are god awful. I like how our team didn’t give up but we should never be in that position in the first place.

I disagree heavily. Hannibal isn’t the best but he’s quite clearly the best guard on our team. (Since Cook isn’t playing)

This is fricking embarrassing. Nicholls shoots lights out from 3 and LSU was 22 of 56 from the floor. Just a dreadful performance, the worst I've ever seen out of LSU basketball.

How on our last possession you don’t run a play for Reed to get the ball close to the basket is beyond me.
Williams was playing awesome down the stretch and you take him out to play Hannibal for the last possession? And end up with a shitty shot attempt, luck out to get the ball and then hoist up a three by Wright (who has a flatter shot than Miller last year).
Kudos for the comeback, but dammit the coaching down the stretch was abysmal.

Side note- McMahon is so dumb. Nicholls is raining 3s all game and our best perimeter defender, Wilkinson, only gets 7 minutes. Mind boggling

Again I heavily disagree. He is undoubtedly more versatile than Hannibal, but no guard on the team is as good at scoring in the paint as Trae. Once he goes downhill it’s almost always a guaranteed bucket.
Trae is also a very good rebounder for a guard and is a decent playmaker. Yes I agree he messed up at the end but Williams was playing quite poorly on the offensive side of the ball the entire game. He had 0 points, 0 rebounds, and 0 assists until the last 5 minutes

Focus. We are comparing Hannibal and Carlos Stewart.
And we also mentioned that we should have fed the ball down low where Nicholls had two players already foul out and we had the advantage with Reid and Fountain.
