Cowan simply does not have the stuff to be effective in conference play. He's a midweek guy or a guy to come in and eat up innings in a blowout.
Did last year just not happen or you miss it entirely?

Got to love it. Great piece of hitting for a nice double right there.

Jake Brown continues to kill the ball.

With the pitching that Nicholls has to be throwing out there at this point, this should be a run rule game for LSU

Didn't Nicholls have our football on the ropes a couple years ago
That was 2024. It was close until early 3rd quarter, but I wouldn’t call it on the ropes. LSU never trailed and won 44-21

Death, taxes, and Brown annihilating RHP

That looked like a hanging curve, Cade could've crushed that.

He was pretty effective last season in conference play with an ERA of 2.935 on 30 & 2/3 innings, 21 1/3 of those scoreless, including 3 against Arkansas, 3 against Texas, and 2.2 against Tennessee.
Did you watch LSU baseball last season?

Last year, he appeared in 14 conference games. He had a 2.93 ERA in 30.2 innings with 5 saves.

3 balls that at bat. Terrible umps
Posted on 2/18/26 at 1:24 pm to IM_4_LSU
I thought he held up, damn.
Posted on 2/18/26 at 1:24 pm to IM_4_LSU
That was as close as it gets, but held just back
Posted on 2/18/26 at 1:24 pm to IM_4_LSU
So close. LSU saying he held up. Nicholls saying he committeed.

Yorke up to bat. Milam at 3B, Brown at 2B. 2 Out.
Low, gets away from the C. Milam scores. Brown to 3B. 1-0 Tigers 1-0 count
