Braun leading off for the Tigers.

Outside, 1-0
Low and outside, 2-0
Very high, 3-0
Taken inside, called strike, 3-1
Fouled, 3-2
Outside, Walk

Nicholls pitcher is getting a lot of 50/50 calls for someone that's been inconsistent.

Cowan looks like last year outside of Omaha

Did you watch the beginning of the season? He was one of the top relievers in the country before 2 bad outings near the end of the year, then great again in Omaha.

Isn't this like Nicholls 5th or 6th game in a pretty short period? They can't have that many arms

Milam taking the first crack at the new Nicholls's rag arm. Braun at 2B, Curiel at 1B. 0 Out. Batting from the left side.

Stays inside, 1-0
Catches the outside zone, 1-1
Fouled down, 1-2
Hit off the 1B, ball gets to the 2B. Milam out at 1B, everyone else advances.

What? Cowan was fricking awesome last year save for a rough few weeks there before the CWS. Y’all need to chill on Cowan. He’s been plenty proven and will be fine. He’ll wind up back in the pen and get some very important high leverage outs for this team.

Milam it would be nice to see you get an extra base hit here. Show off that strength.

You're right, my memory served me wrong. My point still stands that before that he was one of the best relievers in the country.
