Sorry but Nuss was here for 5 years and he has almost nothing to show for it.

JD5 accomplished more in 2 years than Nuss ever did. The 22 Alabama game will live on forever.

Thanks for the Texas Bowl I guess?

I don't think Nuss came back for the money. His family is probably well-off.

I think he came back for what CFB/LSU offers that money can't buy.

My guess is he would've gladly exchanged all the NIL $$$ for a natty.

Statically a top 5 QB in LSU history starting about 2 seasons worth of games and people on this site act like he is Anthony Jennings. We have some dumbass fans.

Tigerpride: fully agree, one of my favorite Tigers, not the best but dedicated loyal and leaving it all on the field. I wosh it would have turned out better and am sure he and his family wished as well. Good luck Tiger soldier!

Nuss is our Derrick Carr when he went to the Texans and got destroyed every game. A great QB, but not mobile enough to compensate for a world class TERRIBLE Oline. Carr understandably was hearing footsteps in his sleep, and that kept him from being even serviceable behind center. Nuss is the same way and I’m worried MVB will be the same IF we don’t get people in who can protect him. Our WHOLE offensive playbook this year was dictated by the ineptitude of the Oline.

If an NFL team with a decent line gives Nuss a shot, he’s gonna be OK. He just needs a few more split seconds of time in the pocket, and confidence in the line to step up and deliver the ball downfield.

Ask yourself, did you ever see Nuss run one time and look like he was not going to be stopped until he scored or got the first down

Yes, obviously. You did too. He had about a 30 yard run in one game.

Kelly’s neglect of focus on the most important positions in the game, the Big Uglies on the line, was his biggest failure BY FAR at LSU. If you are gonna compete in the SEC, it ALL STARTS with the line. PERIOD. If you don’t have that, you don’t have ANYTHING. If casual fans know it, then he should’ve known that. The arrogant jerk. His pride disrupted promising careers.

With a very lazy work ethic to try and get better… Burrow and JD. Those two were in the door before daylight and the last ones to leave everyday. Nuss thought that was dumb. Nuff said.

Nuss was lazy based on what evidence?
Some ding-dongs posting stuff on this site?

Glad is his time here is done, hope he saved his money because there isnt going to be an NFL career.

……………
Rich families/ people still want money and to make more themselves.

Hmmm a natty and trophy that would look good on bragging rights and increased initial salary .

Doubtful

He was given an opportunity.. he made his choices.. did we get 4 million dollars from our investment? He was overpaid and set for life if investment is done right .. still needs to work.. but let that money roll over until 55 and retire very very well off .. or buy a franchise and start a business…

I'm not saying this isn't factually correct, but do we know that this is actually true,or is this just something that's repeated by those who really don't know?

He passed for 4,000 yds and almost 30 tds last year, elite in LSU history. Clearly both he and MVB have been dealt a shitty team to work with this year.

Its the retarded fans who are the problem.

Played through an injury with an OL who was fricking atrocious. I don't care how awesome you are, if you only have 1 second to make a decision on every snap, it is hard to look elite.
