Sporting News

Burrow had a 34, behind Fromme at 35 and Iowa's Nate Stanley at 40.

Tua had a 13.

*Guess Alabama's "tutors" couldn't take the test for him, as usual.

**missed the existing thread.

You haven’t heard the news? Someone broke news to a girl who married a former Bama player and said that was his score from 2018. His NEW score was 19.

If someone did leak the scores there is 0 chance they used a previous score for anyone.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (Harvard) had a 48 in 2005. Good god.

I wrote in another thread the other day that former Saints TE Ben Watson scored a 48, a TE now that's impressive.

Why do players take the Wonderlic? Seems like teams don't care about them at all, and the only thing that happens is results get leaked and guys get mocked for it if the score is low. I don't get why agents don't just tell players to just skip it.

Also, I'm guessing Eason was loaded on adderall to get that score.

Lamar scored a 13? I would have never guessed he scored that high.

Clarification on Tua Tagovailoa’s Wonderlic Score: He took the test in spring of 2018 at Alabama, and got a 13. He took it again at the combine and scored a 19. The average score is a 20. I’m told, NFL teams have this information and there are no concerns.

OP forgot to add this tidbit (Granted, I don't put a lot of stock in the Wonderlic test. It's basically one of those online IQ quizzes that says you are a genius)

It’s meaningless if you are the best athlete on the field every play.

But how much of it is a prospect not caring about his score? If he doesn’t care about that what will he care about?

If it were meaningless why do they take it?

The "Lamar Jackson is stupid" take is fricking old at this point.

FWIW, AJ Green scored a 10 and Patrick Peterson scored a 9 on this test. Basically the Wonderlic is chum in the water for folks on the internet to have hot takes about some college athlete they didn't like or for Twitter NFL scouts to say "I told you this guy would not do well at the combine".

Morris Claiborne infamously only answered two questions right.

On the bright side, the two questions were "What will bring World Peace?" and ""How can you satisfy a woman?"

With this score, Tua is qualified for tenure as an Ala. professor.
