What players on this years team may go in The first round next year? Who would you say is a lock or who has the potential?

There was a draft guru and stat nerd on Dallas radio Friday and he said Chase is the best WR in college, period. Said he’d take him over any WR in 2020 or 21 and said he’d be shocked if he’s not a top 5 pick

Chase is the only lock right now but this time last year how many locks for the 1st round did we have?

Chase 1st. Cox 1st. Marshall probably early second but dont expect 2019 numbers. Deculus 2nd-3rd. McMath wont get enough touches to get higher than 4th-5th but probably later.

who knows. would have never thought Burrow, Jefferson or Queen would go first at start of year. Queen didn't start this year 'till Divinity smoked a little weed.

Some guesses: Chase in the first. Cox in the second or third. Stevens in the second. Marshall in the second or third. Shelvin anywhere from first to fourth. Vincent in the 5th

Chase and Marshall will both be #1's. Marshall is 6-4 with very good speed and great athleticism. They will be the 1st 2 WR's taken in next years draft.

Likely that chase will be 1wr taken. I’d assume it would be between Marshall and the 2 bama receivers for 2-4 spots.

I could see Waddle going ahead of Marshall as he may run a 4.3 in the combine. If Marshall can run a sub 4.5 at 6-4 with his production at LSU I couldn't see him lasting very long in the draft. Calvin Johnson was 6-5, Moss was 6-4. These types don't grow on trees.

I may be in the minority but if he continues to improve in coverage I could see Kary going late first early second like Donte Jackson did just based off of speed alone.

He would have to improve alot
He is basically a slot guy right now

Maybe it will change in Pelini's scheme but he would be lucky to be a late 3rd

That’s what I was thinking. Can really hold some ground and create inside problems.

I’ve seen this multiple places but is this true? Divinity was an OLB and Queen MLB. Clark started at the beginning of the year and I thought Queen replaced him early in the year. To replace Divinity we ran 3-3-5 with Stevens playing closer to the line of scrimmage and Vincent/Hampton in the secondary.

I would say that at this point of time, only Chase is a lock in the first round.

Shelvin may sneak in the first if he continues to dominate this year.

I was watching the replay of the SEC game and Marshall had a few drops. He will have to work on that, specially press coverage. Marshall is currently a late second round prospect.

Vincent is a third round prospect. He has good cover skills but not as good of a safety-CB hybrid that the NFL is looking for.

Stevens should be drafted in the second round if he improves this year. He will have to improve his coverage skills when asked to line up in man-to-man.
