Expecting our offense to improve over this year is certainly realistic.

It starts up front with the OL and on to our running game which was our worst in a decade. Running better will help us pass and vice versa. We can't be one dimensional.

An example of a team that did the same and went from ranked 25th to 6th in the polls in one season?

... I’ll wait...
Well how about I name another team that did it this year. Florida was #25/unranked to start the season and finished 7th. Mullen completely transformered Florida's offense in one year. He also took broke dick Franks and made him a pretty decent QB.

O is the head coach and the one who hired E. Of course how our offense performs is critical to our success or lack thereof next year. But our team's successes and failures ultimately are laid at the feet of the head man, as they should be.

I see absolutely no reason this team shouldn't go 11-1 next year. We bring back a ton of talent and experience and will have continuity on staff. This year was a step forward. Let's go get it.

I still contest that Orgeron is the bigger issue here. I'm not saying Ensminger is some offensive genius, but I think he proved this season that he could scheme up a good gameplan and call a good game. Orgeron though, the man is so damn conservative. He plays not to lose. We saw it all season, the offense would show signs of life then they would just go into a hole and play this conservative brand of football.

I'm surprised this isn't talked about more. O is more conservative than Miles.

Also, whatever clock issues Miles had, O matches those issues in regards to TO's and play reviews.

So, you’re saying that coach O and E did similarly to the great job that Mullen did this season...got it.

I agree, I don't think SE is as bad as he's made out to be sometimes and could totally be a hell of a lot better also but I truly believe O is the limiting factor to the offense just as miles was and SE is just doing what he's told in certain junctures of the game.

Clemson can mercy knee Bama and E can’t score a single freakin point in 8 quarters at home.... Next season will be more of the same!

Not at all... Mullen took a team that finished 4-7 the previous year and completely transformed it. Florida was supposed to be a re-build, and Mullen essentially did it year one. Their offense went from worse than LSU's to better. Going into the A&M game LSU's offensive was ranked in the bottom 3rd of all of college football.

Coach O is 4-8 against teams that finished the season ranked, and that isn't because of a lack of defense. The offensive needs to get better. Ensminger bought himself some time but next year is make or break for him and Coach O. No more excuses.

I’m not even on here saying to fire E! I’m saying hold the players accountable and make them learn the system. If they can’t? Simplifybhe system until they can get the basic concepts and expand upon that.

I also really enjoyed this season overall. I love the trajectory and can’t wait for next year, but I just believe we can do better

Dude, we had the toughest schedule in football.

We broke teams will that we weren’t supposed to beat.

Enjoy our success. Who needs excuses when we broke 99% of the worlds expectations.

Now that the season is over, what team did we beat besides UGA that we shouldn't have beaten? Unranked Miami? Unranked Auburn? I understand the schedule was hard, but at the end of the day this is the second year in a row that Coach O has a losing record against teams that finish the season ranked. And do you really blame that on a defense that didn't give up 30 points the whole regular season? (No counting 7 OT's, which if the offense could have gotten one first down at the end of the game it would have been over.)

Hope you're not mistaking my message, I would rather a different OC also but that person would be limited also. That's my message, I think O is at times because of situations(leads) shutting down the offense and playing safe in the RZ to secure at least 3 pts. Dabo isn't scared of turnovers and it's obvious by the way his OC is allowed to go all out no matter the situation.
