If Divinity can play ILB, he will. Aranda isn't going to limit him to 1 position if he's capable of playing several

Donnie contributed some last year,so I hope he will be OK. I had high hopes for Devin out of HS, but he hasn't done anything and neither has Patterson. They may surprise, but at this point, it would be. I wish all the players the best and not ragging on these two. If anybody can help them it is Aranda. Nothing personal just stating the reality.

Agreed, my point is get him on the field. Guy was a consensus 4-star top 100 recruit on both ESPN and 247. His current size of 6'2" 234 (LSU sportsnet) puts him at an ideal size to run with White, bringing the wood in the middle of the field.

My top four for next season: Key & C. Thompson OLB, White and Divinity at ILB. GREAT blend of speed, ATH, and experience on the outside.

He is ready...

My goodness. If you remove the WM emblem you could convince anyone that kid is a 22yo college senior training for the draft.

Mingo is what...6'5?

Chavis has been gone for long enough for this to be a lame excuse.

One recruiting cycle is "long enough"? I'm not counting this cycle because the players aren't on the team yet.

Isn't Layton Garnett the walkon that Aranda desperately wanted when he first arrived?

How does that happen.

It sounds bad at first glance, but sometimes it happens during the spring. You basically don't have 1/4 of your roster since the freshman aren't playing yet. Add in injuries and you'll have some serious depth problems.

Phillips and Taylor will be here in the fall. Voorhies and Alexander will be back. Patterson and Divinity can probably play the middle. So, if everyone's healthy, those walk ons getting reps in the spring will probably fall back to 7/8 on the depth chart in the fall. Garnett had some D1 offers, so he may actually be solid depth.

Another reason Divinity should be moved to ILB

Another reason to have moved him before the season is because 2 upper classmen needed surgery after the season?
