Unproven, but there is a ton of talent. Just the physical gift of Dee, Drake, and Sullivan are enough to not worry. Someone will emerge. Likely more than 1.

Meh. Receiver is one of the few positions where experience doesn't mean as much as talent.

If you have freaks you put them out there and let them play, and LSU has freaks.

All those guys are physical freaks. They just need to get an opportunity to play.

Nearly every coach in this country would like to have that "problem".

If Chark is Chark and Moreau is Moreau, that alone makes them pretty good.

Anderson and Sullivan in the RZ could be a nightmare for defenses. You can't double both.

Its really weak compared to what we have had in the past. Fans are optimistic based on recruiting rankings but we will see.

We think differently - This drives excitement in my mind. These kids have potential to be superstars.

It doesn't make me that nervous at all. We actually have an OC that will adjust his scheme and formations to his personnel. Canada doesn't run the air raid, we can run formations with only one or two WR's on the field and still make it creative (especially if one of them is a distraction on a jet sweep action).

We're fairly deep at H Back/TE/FB/whatever we're calling it now. You can get creative with those guys in the formations as well.

Oh yeah, and we have Guice in the backfield.

I would have felt better if Dupre had come back, but this isn't the biggest conern that we have on this year's squad.

Drake Davis breaking out this year. Dude is going to be an animal, IMO

I've seen Drake Davis in person twice and both times I couldn't believe he's a WR.

I think we'll be fine. I can't wait for the CFB world gets notice of Drake Davis, I think he's going to be special.

I'm also interested in Racey McMath. His high school film makes me think he'll translate well to the next level.

I've seen physical freaks many times over the years at WR - only thing that matters is how great is their route running ability, do they have great hands to make the tough catch, and are they fearless in catching and maintaining the ball over the middle in traffic. These 3 traits equate to the ability to maintain ball control and keep chains moving. Until another Landry-type receiver steps forward, you can keep all the tall 4.4 "freak" sprinters for show. Hoping that at least one of these new players shows out - I think Chark has already proven his worth. So, I will stay cautiously optimistic .

You forgot Pettigrew. There is no reason to worry about 4 people on that list who got decent playing time at the end of the year. That's Chark, Moreau, Anderson, and Gage. Do you not remember that catch Gage made against A&M?

Here's another big variable not being considered which should. This offense should allow these WRs to take advantage of their talents. The last offense was more about the offense as a whole instead of the players. This one is more about the players and letting their talents take over. GT

You're half right. There is a lot of talent, but it's not unproven.

Foster Moreau has been kicking arse for two years.

D.J. Chark was a dominant receiver last year. Don't be confused by the fact that we could not get the ball to him; he schooled every corner who tried to cover him.

Russell Gage got a lot of playing time last year and did very well.
