next year U!
i for one say, frick that. wasn't O sold to the fanbase as keeping the train rolling?
as for the excuses from the drones let me get some out the way for you now:
they're young
there was no D line depth
Les left a talent void
let the downvotes commence.

The Southeastern Conference Media Days voting this past week that tabbed LSU to finish fifth in the league's Western Division in 2018 made it official. This season is a bridge year for the Tigers. It's one of those seasons in which a team is a year away from having enough required talent to challenge for a division and conference championship.

10 regular season wins or GTFO. That was my standard for Les and that’s my standard for O. All the rest is excuses

Technically, and tell me if you disagree with this, LSU can improve this year but the record may not reflect it

Absolutely zero love for the Tigers this season.. I get the schedule and all but 6 wins is ridiculous

If LSU starts 1-2, the senseless "Fire Coach O" bandwagon begins and some fans start bailing early. They'll sell their home game tickets for a tidy profit to opposing fan bases like Georgia and Alabama, and it will make the uphill battle even tougher for the Tigers.
Sounds like a familiar refrain on this board, blame the fans for the team's shortcomings.

What train are you talking about.

Which is what most fans outside of this board have been saying. That unfortunately doesn’t deter the low-iq goons on this board from yelling “10 wins is the floor! SEC champ or fire O!”.
This team could finish with 9 wins again and still be improved over a year ago.

Last year, injuries and academic casualties left both lines thin and young by the time we played State and troy. Piece by piece, the d-line got players back and improved mightily. The o-line improved some with a little dept as well.
Barring anymore freak injuries or suspensions, both lines will be much deeper, but some of the most reliable members of each line won’t be back. There’s a lot of reason for both optimism and skepticism for this team, especially on the extremely talented but inexperienced offense and defensive secondary.

No one would be breaking out pitchforks for 9 wins. I'd say he needs to improve on that even more for '19 but it'd be acceptable.
But don't give me 7-5 and try to say that we're headed in the right direction. That's nonsense.

So, patience is the biggest requirement from start to finish in this bridge season for anyone associated with LSU.
O could have bought himself some time if he doesn’t get his fuching teeth kicked in against State, Lose to Troy, Lose to Florida and cost us he sugar bowl or loses to Notre Dame the way he did.
He has done nothing to earn patience. He doesn’t get to just keep fuching losing. Eventually you have to actually win some games.

O lovers- Miles when 11 games or he needs to be fired. Got miles fired and now they are preaching it’s ok to go from 10wins to 6-7 wins because we need patience. Drives me crazy. The whole miles left positions bare. Not mentioning like 5-6 trench players transferred either when miles got fired or O was hired.

Those loses are inexcusable.

When do you expect LSU to win the SEC? How many years?

I don’t believe in moral victories though.

O's bridge season was last year. No one's fault but his own that he completely wasted it.

It’s not lowering the bar by stating a fact that the team could be improved overall at 9 wins this year.

And for the second time in this thread you prove to be out of touch.
This is why no one takes your seriously

This is how you're going to get out of admitting you were wrong about Orgeron.
