This isnt about Juluke or Orgeron. This is Burns and Saban doing work.

So....Jumping on the wagon late here. Call me Capt. Obvious - but winning games will solve all of these problems.

If LSU beats Bama and goes to the playoffs this year - wild horses could keep these kids away.

If McMath is mad at LSU, and LSU only, he's stupid.

New Orleans turned it's back on LSU back in the day. You really don't want to toy with that relationship imho.
Yep. O knows this, and he is a phenomenal salesman. I have a feeling he will make it right

I don't know how it isn't

When was the decision to reassign (not fire) Juluke made?

Bet when LSU makes the Playoffs this shite will die. Not every kid loves LSU but how can you let one person influence your decision. If its that easy, you didn't really want to come here.

This is false.

One reporter says it is true, one says it is false. I seriously doubt you know for sure one way or the other.

They can't stop a kid from being recruited or making a decision to go to LSU

No, but they can refuse to allow LSU coaches on their campuses and they can exert considerable influence on players' decisions.

This whole thing is just a shitshow. I thought recruiting, especially in-state recruiting, was supposed to be the strength of our new head coach. Now we lost almost all of the best players in the state in this signing class and New Orleans coaches are pissed and threatening to boycott?

Honestly, our recruiting in Louisiana can't get much worse than it was this year, so maybe this won't make much difference. It certainly can't help, though.

Yes it's true. I was told that McMath wasn't gonna even visit if JJ was fired.

I mean NLA has a lukewarm relationship with LSU. Most of the people on here just accepted it and said "Those kids are going to BAMA anyway". LSU loses NOLA and this thing could go into a tailspin real quick.

Then maybe we should stop bringing them up in this discussion.
