your point?

my point is, Juluke screwed over Texas tech by reneging on his contract to be Texas Tech's running back coach after a month, yet we're supposedly the assholes for reassigning him to another role within the AD. And now, with him getting that same job again, it doesn't appear as if he has "suffered" at all. But New Orleans high school coaches want to boycott the LSU program? Sounds like they're trying to extort LSU, which wouldn't surprise me

A quick search would lead you to see that Mickey Joseph is supposedly the front runner and David Johnson has been contacted as well. No need for that information, it might detract from the agenda
Someone posted, if you'd do a quick search, that David Johnson is shying away now because of this NOLA coaches fallout crap.

edited: here you go.

LSU’s head coach is in the process of hiring a new area recruiter. He had been in touch with St. Augustine alum David Johnson, Memphis’ wide receivers coach, who turned down the job because of the growing rift between the area head coaches and LSU, the source said.

Juluke's replacement will be black. HIS replacement will be black.

Racism's got nothing to do with it. Juluke (whom I like A LOT and think has a bright future) underperformed on the recruiting trail, which is his strength. I must say the separate individual performances by Fournette and Guice this season should have been enough to save his job, but with a no OC coming in, this cannot be considered unfair treatment.

I mean, are they going to back track if we hire Johnson?

If New Orleans wants to be like that, we can easily make Houston our new home base. Jesuit and Curtis won't be part of this crap.

no idea but considering the schools involved it's clear that it's racial on the part of these coaches.

Who signed because of Juluke? Is there a signee that wants to be released from his LOI?

Exactly.
Juluke is listed as a recruiter for 5 recruits.
Saahdiq Charles
Clyde Edwards Helaire
Jontre Kirklin
Tory Carter
and Racey McMath..

The only one they could be slightly pissed about is McMath since he committed right before signing day.
But the McMath offer didn't even come until we were sure we were out of it for Devonta Smith, I believe?
So he obviously wanted to come to LSU not because of the recruiter..
The other 4 all committed shortly after their offers in early 2016.

The whole thing is dumb to me. It should blow over very shortly.

Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High Schools boycotting LSU in every sport (Male and Female) because a new LSU HC wanted to change RB coach. It will be known as THE 1000 YEAR BOYCOTT!!!

New Orleans turned it's back on LSU back in the day. You really don't want to toy with that relationship imho.

What does that have to do with Juluke? Does McMath want to be released from his LOI?

bullshite
1. he made Aranda the highest paid coordinator in CFB
2. he made a very good hire in Canada at OC
3. he cut bait with Peveto
4. he signed the #7 class in the country in the midst of a regime change
5. he went 6-2 to finish out a pretty unsalvagable season, while dominating the Heisman trophy winner

so how exactly has he "shite the bed"? Because he had a disgruntled employee?

Juluke and Craig were his main recruiters.

No idea if he wants to be released. But the rumor is that he would not have signed with LSU if they had been fired earlier.

take it FWIW

This is false. In fact, Johnson called the coaches out for their behavior.

I would release him if I were Orgeron. Kid was lucky to get an offer IMO.

I posted this last week and some of you laughed at me. If you don't understand the politics in New Orleans coaching circles, you can't coach at the Flagship state school. It's a brotherhood with those coaches in that area, all of them grow up with each other, and roots for one another !

I don't know how it isn't

Do we think this would have happened if O had fired Juluke when he fired Peveto?
