New Monopoly at McDs is crap

I remember when it was simple you got a burger fries or coke or a property and tried to get all 3.
Grabbed an egg McMuffin this morning and got a game piece on hash brown and on muffin.
You have to download a mcds app, then "opt in" to the game then scan the pieces in now to even know what they are. #aintnobodygottimeforthat
After all that I "won" food...a cookie. A COOKIE.
Second game piece made me play some dumb plinko game in the app and I "won" a trial peacock tv subscription. HOORAY
Wtf does plinko have to do with monopoly?? I guess I missed that in the original game.
Booooooo. Just give me a property or say free fries on the piece and call it a day.

There was one year when every meal contained a free fry and/or drink. Maybe I was on a hot streak, but I just had to come up with McDLT money on the first buy and then the rest of the summer I was playing with house money.

I actually never heard about the criminal stealing pieces story. (Just googled it.
I always assumed it was rigged and they'd never send all of the pieces you needed to the same part of the country or something

Surprised they’re even attempting it. After we were all trapped at home during Covid watching Tiger King and the Netflix documentary about how rigged Monopoly was, I’d figure nobody would have any interest.

Someone on here last year showed how you could go online and win free food without purchase. My idiot self got into it and started logging in every day for a couple of weeks. I won a decent amount of free food but only claimed one thing. You couldn't stack and get it all at once, and I don't eat fast food that often.

Some poster last year basically posted a cheat code. All types of free stuff without having to purchase anything.
