If Dawkins pleas, FBI seals the case and Wade does not testify there is no evidence to base an investigation off of.

There were over 3000 phone calls recorded by the FBi in the Dawkins case. Nobody here knows how many other calls with Wade may have been recorded, or what he may have said on other calls. So you really have no idea if there is or is not basis for the FBI to investigate Wade.

New ESPN article about Feds filing motion to bar CWW from testifying

It won't matter with the idiots and with Yahoo and their cronies, this is about sabotaging LSU's recruiting season now. They already sabotaged their NCAA tourney, now they are trying to sabotage their recruiting, especially since 2 5 star players are very high on LSU. And this article in the Morning Advocate, front page, about Yahoo saying FBI sent investigators to BR to investigate WW's recruiting tactics is just more BS by Yahoo sports. I guarantee you the FBI has already investigated WW!!! I'm about sick of the BS and lies Yahoo is putting out just to get attention. Yahoo is about as creditable as the National Enquirer. WW will be back and he will save the recruiting season. Just hope these kids don't buy into all this BS Yahoo is shitting out their asses!!!

its easy to make out the tapes to be totally negative without actually hearing them in their entirety. That’s what the media does. They take snippets and form a narrative to suit their agenda. Until we hear everything this is nothing.

Those LSU fans that want WW to stay, me included, want him exonerated, other fans (or pretend fans) for whatever reason have already assumed his guilt.

And that cocksucker, Alleva, needs to be the first one out the gate to push for exoneration! Then, after doing so, fire that prick for lack of due process.

Of course, it does. That's what "working together" in law enforcement means.

All you idiots that think the FBI was actually investigating CWW need to read this.

When was it ever about the FBI investigating Wade? FBI could care less about NCAA rules. The issue was Wade getting recorded in the investigation of Dawkins. Bottom line is the tapes need to go away.

Sad that Joe Alleva threw away a great season and a chance to go deep into the NCAA tournament without knowing all of the facts.

Getting into the top 16 is deep into the NCAA tournament and who knows where we would have ended up with Wade still coaching.

We could have been in another bracket and lost to another team earlier.

The season was good and the bigger picture is the future of the program and recruiting this year. Assuming Wade returns is LSU going to the same form losing at least 3 of their best players.

We may never know what is on the tapes and the entire story and best for LSU that we don't

Alleva did what he thought he needed to do and Will Wade hopefully had learned to keep his mouth shut and at the end of the day Wade started the snow ball rolling and Alleva handled the situation poorly.

There was no good outcome after the Yahoo leaks

The NCAA is not law enforcement, this is sharing info w the private sector that is not working together as agencies work together.

And for the record, I've never seen any statement from the DOJ or FBI that it is sharing evidence with the NCAA.

They have given their blessing to NCAA to begin investigation the schools involved. This was done because the FBI did not want the NCAA interfering with its investigation of these issues. That is not the same as an agreement to handover all evidence.

Me either. I have no idea why people keep making this assumption.

From the article I linked earlier in this thread -

“Emmert said the NCAA is working in conjunction with the FBI on the investigations. The FBI hasn't "dumped all their files" at the NCAA office in Indianapolis yet, he said.”

Disagree if you wish, but this is where people get the idea.

I’m sure you have an interesting take on “files” and how that doesn’t mean evidence sharing”.

From your own info. They may be working in conjunction. But that doesn’t mean the FBI will just hard over evidence.

Emmert also says, the fbi hasn’t “ dumped all their files” at the ncaa office yet.

That certainly suggest something more, at least from Emmert’s Perspective.

Haha. Like I said before, the NCAA agreed not to perform its own investigation until the FBI gave them the green light. I'm sure the NCAA is assisting with the FBI as much as possible, but doubt the FBI is assisting in NCAA violation investigations. Keep in mind the scheme that is being prosecuted is that by receiving benefits, the players are ineligible to play and receive an athletic scholarship. In order to know if a player would be ineligible, the FBI needs an NCAA interpretation of its rules on eligibility.

But if you are interpreting Emmert's statement as an absolute that the FBI has in fact agreed to hand over all its evidence to the NCAA, that would be a major reach and is not what was said.

Hahahahhahaha

A few of you were incredulous that the mere suggestion of evidence sharing existed.

Well, not only was it suggested/implied, but it comes from one of the major players in the whole thing.

Do what you will with that info, but that’s where it comes from.
