Holy shite. I understand that there is no shortage of reasons to dislike Alleva, but good God, man.

People often joke "what, did _______ frick your wife or something?" In this instance, I think it actually is true. Joe Alleva had sex with your wife.

He honestly thinks alleva cancelled a huge concert that makes millions of dollars because he doesn't like country music. LOL

I'm sure this guy is one of those "true" tiger fans who can't afford season tickets now on his shite salary so he's pissed at the AD

I am no fan of country music an have no interest in the BCSF, but I don't get the pure hate for it. It brought money to BTR and the school we all love. Where is the harm in that?

There has never been an athletic department or school that "doesn't need the money"

Any member of any alum group can confirm that shite. University employees beg for cash like they are working at a public radio station

I don't think it was bringing much the last several years, I think it had gotten to the point where it was more of a pain in their arse.

It was a nice event when they started out and was drawing plenty of people from all over. Unfortunately, a lot of similar events sprung up around the country with pretty much all of the same rotating acts so attendance has rapidly declined the last few years.

Yeah there was an article a while back about how attendance has been dwindling.

As a South End Zone dweller I'm elated that new bathrooms are somewhere on the horizon.

Isn't only one half of the stadium used during the concert? Couldn't they flip sides each year?

You do understand BCSF was Alleva's idea, right?

Not really. They use the PMAC as the backstage area and there's no corresponding facility on the South Side.

Plus, they wouldn't be able to sell tickets in the new South End Zone Suites. $$$

F...ing TVs are a joke. Its like being in a time warp. Suddenly I'm watching a shitty game in the early 90's thru those screens.

I keep expecting to see Curly pacing the sideline when I look at those TVs.
