I truly think he’s great academically but I hate how much he mishandles and misjudges sports.

Well, then can he fire Alleva now?

I'll cut his grass for life.

not sure why he keeps getting lumped into JA and EO fire threads, he's not nearly as responsible as the other two.

This will go over well....

Most people on here don't care about academics, didn't attend LSU, or both.

He stopped Miles getting canned when he should have been the previous year. He needs to go.

How can someone who has literally presided over the complete and utter degradation of LSU's academic image be considered "great" academically?

In his and the governors ploy to get more money out of the state they ran an awful disinformation campaign predicated on LSU going bankrupt and potentially having to shutter programs.

What high quality applicant would want to go to a school that is publicly stating it may not be able to afford your program of study for 4 years?

It was the epitome of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I've heard him speak numerous times in person. I know his positions (on this issue in particular). A president who cares about school and academics is not hard to come by

As far as being an immature goon, that I am

F King is not the problem he's perceived to be. Not saying he's great or anything, but this is on Joe Alleva.

Miles was past his prime but I can understand why F King stopped the firing process. Miles deserved a shot to right the ship and should've been able to finish 2016 IMO.

Alleva still should get all of the shite for actually hiring O. It doesn't matter what happened in 2015 at that point. Alleva fricked up big time.

Excellent post. Thank you for presenting an objective "real world" look at F. King
Alexander. He should not be sacrificed on the pyre of semi-professional big time
collegiate athletics. LSU is fortunate to have him.

It was well stated...but it was also well-researched, thought out, and logically presented.
