Are people really bitching about playoffs here?
Yes, I agree we are ranked a little low, and yes I agree that Ole Miss is a little too high, but there is plenty of time to go, and honestly who gives a shite unless you are top 4? People should just be happy we are where we are at this point, when 4 weeks ago every LSU fan thought tiger stadium was about ready to implode with our whole football program inside of it.

Alabama is going to be very upset with this poll. They should be at least where Ole Miss is. They will have a point to prove in 2 weeks. This is double bad news for LSU.

Lsu herp derped a minimum of 10pts too OM. Lost by 5 to #1, but got killed by # 3 on the road, with a true frosh. My only problem is that OU is ranked ahead of us with 2 losses. We obviously have the best 2 losses!

It's frustrating but they're only going to let so many SEC teams in the various levels. It's not like it's objective or else the NC would just be the SEC Championship. It should be, plus maybe 5-8 other teams.

Dude, THIS SYTEM claims a 5-2 team (worst record), with its only losses to #7 and #9, and best win vs #20 (worst SOS) is better than a 7-2 team ( better record), with only losses to their #1 and #3, and best win vs their #4 (better SOS).
I like for you or anyone on this bs committee to explain to me and everyone else why a better record vs a tougher SOS is ranked lower than a worst record vs weaker SOS.
I give my reasons.... Bias, cheaters, liars, stupid men with no integrity.

Man, BAMA will be in the top 4 after this weekend without even having to play a game. Its really genius. Put them at 5 so as to appear unbiased knowing that 3 and 4 play next week. It's the best way to avoid having to explain how you put a 1 loss BAMA in over a 1 loss OM.

We don't deserve to be in the discussion at this point so our ranking really doesn't bother me. Ole Miss is too high but they won't be there long anyway. It will be interesting to see how they move teams each week based on quality wins, the eye test, the "updated" resumes, etc. Will they move teams like the other polls where your movement is heavily influenced by what the teams in front of you do, or will they revisit each team's evaluation weekly?
With that being said, I've always thought a playoff would cause much more controversy than people realized. It was much easier to separate the two top teams, or team #2, from teams 3 and 4. There will be many more teams left out in this system who have legitimate cases to be one of the last teams in, and much more complaining and controversy as a result.
