I never said I agree with Ole Miss being 4. However, it's fricking October...Ole Miss still has to play the meat of it's schedule and will likely lose this weekend anyway. EVERYTHING will clear itself up. You guys are over reacting..but it's not very surprising with this fanbase.

Funny thing is, everyone here on this thread is positive about LSU, saying we should be higher, you are the one stating how we got our shite pushed in and talking shite about "this fan base"... news flash, YOU ARE THE NEGATIVE FAN BASE NOW

Right..because I don't give a frick about the 1st playoff polls in late october. You're so right....I'M A NEGATIGER.

I'm not butt hurt that Ole Miss is ranked #4 (although I don't agree with it) nor do I give a frick that Oklahoma and Nebraska are ranked higher than us. Literally almost all of those teams have to play someone in they 25 at least once and if we win out...the rankings will take care of themselves.

I'm a negatiger because I don't over react.

Hey, LSU. We recognize that you are the only team in the country to have played 3 of the top four teams in the country. Way to fight back and almost pull out the win against number 1. We'll count that 5 point victory as a quality win for them; it has no value for you. We understand you were a young team starting a freshman QB on the road against Auburn. We'll count that as a quality win for them. It has zero value for you. Man, way to fight for that win against Ole Miss. We'll count that as a good loss for them; it has ZERO value for you. Hey, we have 3 SEC schools in the top four, four in the top 6 and 5 in the top 11. Someone had to get screwed! But don't be upset. If you beat BAMA in two weeks we'll find a way to bump you up to the top 15! They'll still be top 10 of course. Hail State! War Eagle! Hoddy Toddy!

It matters in that the committee has shown their process of choosing a playoff is retarded. It doesn't matter what month it is. They chose Ole Miss to be in the playoff if the season were to end today. What team in that top four could Ole Miss beat, if the season were to end today, after their shitshow no less than four days ago?

Respond.

Who cares? The season doesn't end today. We still have plenty of football left and most of those teams play each other. It's completely irrelevant.

BTW, are you mad that Ole Miss is 4th or that LSU is 19th? Or both?

I'm mad at the thought that these rankings were supposed to be subjective, and they're far from it. I don't care where LSU is ranked, they have two losses and are out of it barring a miracle. Ole Miss got their shite pushed in (your words) less than four days ago, sustaining heavy losses to players in the process, and they're one of the four best teams in the nation?

This does not bode well for the selection process of future playoffs.

That's what I'm upset about. TThe selection process.

And they still beat the #6 team in the country and have 1 loss. Like I said..none of this matters right now. There has been too little football to make these kinds of rankings right now and too much football left to speculate what the future will be. Give them time. It'll all sort itself out.

If we are 19 and OMiss is 4 just imagine what the rankings would have looked like if they came out LAST week!

And? We got our fricking dicks pushed in in those 2 losses. IDGAF what their rankings are...it doesn't change how we got beat. Win out and the ranking will take care of themselves.

Agree. People seemed to have forgotten those two atrocities after the last few successful weeks.

Need I remind all of you that the majority of these teams still play each other:

Mississippi State plays Alabama and Ole Miss

Auburn plays Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama

Ole Miss plays Auburn and Mississippi State

Oregon plays Utah and if they win the division they will play the PAC-12 South Champion

Alabama plays LSU, Mississippi State, and Auburn

TCU plays West Virginia and Kansas State

Michigan State plays Ohio State and possibly Nebraska or Wisconsin if they play for the Big Ten title

Kansas State plays TCU, West Virginia, and Baylor

Notre Dame plays Arizona State

Georgia plays Auburn

Arizona plays Utah and Arizona State

Baylor plays Oklahoma and Kansas State

Arizona State plays Utah, Notre Dame, and Arizona

Nebraska plays...essentially nobody, aside from possibly Michigan State or Ohio State in the Big Ten title game

Ohio State plays Michigan State and either Nebraska or Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game

Utah plays Oregon and Arizona

Oklahoma plays Baylor

Chill the frick out people.

If LSU takes care of business and somehow beats Bama then all of this will sort itself out and LSU will be sitting pretty by the end of November.

That does not mean we will make the top 4, but we will likely be comfortably inside of the top 8 (which would be a heck of an achievement for this team).
