I wonder what would happen if LSU had a season similar to Ohio State in 2002

Our fans would be miserable pussies after every single win and might literally complain after we won the national championship

I don't know what people want? Football is a tough game. Whst team blows out everyone? Even the mighty Saban looses games.

I dont think those folks are calling for unbeaten seasons every year. When you beat the tar out of bama, you expect to win the game on the scorboard also. Not lose because of bonehead calls by your coach. I think people are still pissed because the way our coach treated some of the players last yr. I think that when your team is good enough to get to the NCG they need to play like the #1 team in the country, Not show up and cross the 50 One time. The team under performs alot (we have no doubt its because of coaching)

UF relied on a last second punt block to beat ULL at home, Muschamp gets paid millions and he cant' even put ULL away, let's complain. Only 2 weeks ago they beat a ranked MSU team by over 20, but let's focus on 2 games that even the fans weren't excited about

I thought the point of having a team like ours was too expect the best, not just be grateful we squeaked out games against terrible teams that have been the whipping boys for the conference all season...except when they play LSU

If you tell me before the season We the lose TM7, our team leader, both of our starting tackles, our starting RB and along with breaking in a new QB. Then we play 4 top 10 teams in a row. I would have taken 10-2 before the season started. So Quit your fricking whining! Try going to school here with Hallman as coach! You have no idea what bad football really is.

I get having high expectations and for a program of our caliber they should be high

But we were breaking in a new QB and were just hammered with injuries earlier in the season that would have crippled most teams

A mediocre coach and this is a 4 or 5 loss season for most teams

I don't have a problem with legit criticism of the coach. There is certainly still a lot of room for improvement with game management decisions IMO.

What I have a problem with is everyone throwing a fit like a bunch of 4 year old girls because their football team only won ten games. It's an embarrassment.

You're probably one of the same idiots that said we would lose 5 or 6 games after the Florida loss as well

Considering that we haven't lost to a non conference opponent since Penn State in 2009 Bowl game, just how severely inbred are you to be dumb enough to think that we will get "nailed" in the bowl game?

I may start a thread on this later, but I have a question. So Miles is now 85-20 at LSU as of November 23, 2012. He's 5-2 in the postseason. Two SEC Championships and a BCS Championship. Does anyone think this isn't an outstanding record? Who the frick would you hire who you're sure would do any better?

I don't see many bitching about not winning more than 10 games. I honestly expected a 9-10 win season.

What people are bitching about is the terrible performances against teams like Arkansas who have been arse raped by every decent team they've played this year and Ole Miss. LSU was also 0-8 in SEC play, Auburn's closest game outside wins against terrible teams.

It would be one thing is we had a close win against a crappy team. It happens, but it shouldn't happen 3-4 time a year and it isn't like this is the first year its happened. Outside last year, Mile coached teams always play to the level of competition and it is frustrating as hell to watch.

I enjoy a good, hard fought game against qaulity opponents like Bama, UF (although that was a shite game), A&M, SC etc., but these guys shouldn't be squeaking games out against the worst Auburn team in god knows how long and an Arkansas team coached by someone who shouldn't even be a HC in high school football.

People talk about how LSU was almost 11-1 or 12-0 and they're right, but we're also close to being 7-5 or 8-4 b/c we let crap teams hang around. Miles has no business being fired, but some criticism and annoyance is warranted.

We go 10-2 playing in the toughest conference in the country while playing a ton of young guys all across the team. And some bitch

Ticket prices rising, concession and parking prices rising and the demands of the TAF have created a level of expection for return on investment that no one can meet. Add the Internet as a place to voice their displeasure and this is what we get

These people are truly some of the dumbest people of all time

And Miles consistently proves them wrong

After the UF game it was "We're not going to beat ____ if we play like that"

We were supposed to lose to TAMU and we didn't
We were suppsoed to lose to SC and we didn't
We were supposed to not cross the 50 against Bama and we gave them everything they could handle (yeah I'm as pissed at how that game unfolded as anyone else, but eventually you have to move on)

Then we were supposed to have the hangover game and lose to MSU. Didn't happen.

Close games against Ole Miss and Arky who we're supposed to beat the snot out of? Both wins. I'll take it. And the offense made a lot of plays in those wins when people never thought it would be possible.

The problem is some people live such a miserable existence that they'll complain about anything.

Example:
We don't throw it down the field enough - people whine about it.

We throw it down the field - everyone complains that Mett overthrows so why are we throwing down the field?

Run the ball inside and get stuffed? "Stop running up the middle!"

Run the ball to the outside and don't get a good gain? "OMG why don't we just run between the tackles behind our 8 billion pound fullback?"

Incomplete pass "Why aren't we running and getting back to our bread and butter?!"

Seriously, it's so predictable and so stupid. The scary thing is some of these people are married. I feel sorry for the wives that married these poor excuses for human beings. Must be miserable to live with a fricking 3 year old in a 40 year old fat dude's body.

God damn I hate some of you people.

The takeaway from the last three games is miles trusts mett to make plays to win and the WRs are making plays As a result

The 3rd and ten in the 4th throw to OBJ would not have been called before the BAMA game
