On Mardi Gras too. I was at that game and we were laughing our asses off in student section because only an idiot can find a way to lose like that. We almost left early knowing LSU would win but like Bobby Knight we knew there was always a chance for Dale to screw it up.

It really is. I am not a big Dale Brown fan but the vitriol toward him is really over the top.

I’m downvoting every Dale brown thread now. Good or bad. Are y’all not tired of talking/hearing about him?

Just feelings being bled all over the board. Unfortunately until our bball team starts winning again, this will be the norm, pitiful as it is.

LSU "fans" are the absolute worst. Just wait till this afternoon when they watch their first women's bball game and start 100 threads shitting on Mulkey.

Yep, can you imagine what LSU could do with a REAL basketball coach?

These people are probably miserable in their own lives. What ever you want to say about Dale he gave us 15 years of golden age of LSU basketball. He put us on the map. No he wasn't a great coach but he was a great recruiter and motivator. You my never again see students sleeping overnight in line to get into the game the next day. We had a blast. As much as I liked Wade he is gone and REAL LSU fans will support the new coach and the team until it is shown that he can't do the job. You have to be an absolute moron to be screaming for him to be fired this year. If this was year 3 I'd be right there with them but too soon.

What's more pathetic than that IMO is the constant crying over the ex boyfriend Will Wade. I liked Wade. I wish he was still the coach.

He's not. He's gone. Just about everyone on this board has said their piece about it, and for a large group it's not enough. They just have to keep bitching about it for bitching's sake.

It's like going out to pick up chicks and having the friend that just talks about the ex the whole time.

Exactly! If the women lose to SC this afternoon, she will be called a washed up coach and the game has passed her by! That’s the rantards for you! They eat their own like no other fan base!!!

I will never forget Coach Brown taking an 11 seed to the Final Four and that "Freak" defense he ran.

Dale Brown let Oliver Miller drag Shaq out beyond the three-point line rendering him completely ineffective.

I’d guess because if you know anything about the real dale you’d know he’s a bad person . Also very mediocre coach .

Well tell us what you know first hand. Not what you heard or read, what you know. Otherwise it’s innuendo.

Yeah, The Mardi Gras Miracle was a completely pathetic meltdown, bu LSUDan1 has had a weird obsession with hating Dale Brown on this board for a long time.

To accuse someone of being a bad person is a big accusation. Brown has his faults, but if he is such a bad person, I would think his players (who spent more time with him than just about anyone) would hate him instead of loving him like they pretty clearly seem to do.

Also, Brown wasn't the best Xs and Os coach, but I believe Brown has the 3rd most win in SEC history. Not bad for a mediocre coach.
