LSUDAN1 that LSU was super weak, but Dale the coach that DID NOT KNOW HOW TO Coach had us up by 35 against a Kentucky team that was loaded top to bottom.

Our best player on that 1994 team is Ronnie Henderson, and he had been hurt coming out of high school.

You can watch the game and see the talent difference clearly on tape.

Dale is the same coach that held North Carolina to 9 points in 1 half with Michael Jordan and a ton of talent on that roster.

The NCAA at the time was giving loans to even office personal of up to 1 million dollars and not looking for the money to be repaid.

That is why you had so many coaches were calling the NCAA out, and the only teams they went after were the ones calling the corruption out.

I am fine with paying players , what I’m not fine with is coming back and inserting yourself in LSU basketball and speaking against the same improprieties he was guilty of for over 3 decades when no one asked his opinion . The old pot calling the kettle black . Another name for this is hypocrite . I’m not going to change your mind on Dale , and I doubt you will change mine . I just don’t get the white knighting for someone who was such a mediocre coach and major hypocrite .

Most all of what you say is opinions not fact. Just because you have animosity towards him doesn’t make any of that true.

When they did. Kentucky fouled and LSU missed the free throws.

Tell us again who missed the free throws. Was it Dale or the players.

They were up by 31 at half. What would you propose Dale change for the second half?

I'll trade that loss for the incredible victories over UNLV and Loyola Marymount

Well, that's it.

I've promised myself that if there is any other posting's title cutting down Dale Brown, I'm not going to read the thread.

Never forget the guy who started this thread doesn’t spell check. Your distain for Dale is overshadowed by your distain for grammar.

Imagine the blowback if some hardcore Orgeron folks pushed and got the field named after him.

Now, imagine the same thing happening if O lost to OU in the semifinals.

That's how I see this Dale Brown court and the response by some fans.

I remember as I lay in my bed listening to that game. I thought how embarrassing this was going to be for Dale and the basketball team.

I was at the game with the 31 point lead. Ky couldn’t miss from wherever they shot from. LSU played hard the whole game. frick y’all that want to blame everything on Coach Brown. You either weren’t there are don’t know what the crap you are talking about. Sick of it!
