Just heard that as well. I’ll be legitimately upset if LN leaves. I could care less if JM leaves

Bring back the narcisse thread that got whacked!

So you care

If Burrow was named the starter, it makes sense that McMillan would transfer. Why Narcisse would actually transfer makes no sense because he is essentially a play away from being the starter, even if he were third string. Brennan would have to light it up to stay in a game as the backup, and while I like his measurables, I have not seen the lasting effect in his in game performance, yet. Not knocking anyone, just think Narcisse needs to speak with the coaches and not make this decision to abruptly.

O has to put his recruiting hat on when he gets off the practice field and recruit Narcisse. He’s a guy you need now and would like to keep in the future.

Isn’t skipping practice violation of team rules? It certainly doesn’t help either one of them make their case for starting or even playing time.

He wants to be a full time starter. I can’t blame him.

LSU offense is going to look similar to Ole Miss under Bo Wallace.
Pass first offense with a talented group of receivers and average SEC RB's.

thank you, sounds like that OP is in the know.

But he is a Freshman with a lot of rust to shake off when it comes to throwing the football. He's not ready to be a starter, and everyone sees that but him.

agree - Narcisse could be backing McMillan but he should see in college football land it's all about your own PT!
I think most would agree that McMillan was expected to jolt if he was not named starter

Was LN ever really in the running to be a full time starter this year? I somehow doubt that.

Well, #1 and #2 just became clear cut. Lots more reps to go around.

From what I heard, LN was led to believe that there was a good chance he'd be the starter this upcoming season, if he continued to progress. I guess now he's been told differently, and he's not too happy about it. Understandable, although he'd probably benefit from just getting some PT and regaining his confidence and gaining some experience.
Well that was very naive of him to believe that O went out and got a 4star grad transfer after recruiting season, only to let him ride the pine.
Was never going to happen

Fricking rip the band aid off. There was no way you were going to keep everyone happy.
If this was O making a decision that they didn't like, kudos to him. It had to be done now.

I want to run a Fortune 500 company, it doesn’t mean I’m ready to do so. He needs more time to shake off the rust and develop as a passer. He’s getting bad advice if someone is telling him to transfer.

Crazy if it happened that fast. I find that hard to believe.
Have to allow for the possibility that they weren't on the field today for other reasons (film, academic, rules, injury-precautionary) and this has been "extrapolated". Just a some words of caution until we know for sure. There are some uncommon reasons why they wouldn't be at practice... hence the choice of the word possibility over probability.
