So, at what point does the blame/credit shift from players to coaches on this sliding scale? Presumably individual players making plays a lot equals winning, which will reflect well on a coach. Likewise, players playing poorly will result in losses and reflect poorly on said coach.

We seem to often time have a situation where when players make plays and we win, the coach gets credit...but when players don't make plays and we lose the players get blamed.

At what point do players not making plays often enough become an issue that actually reflects on this head coach and not just the players?

incredibly stupid statement

Really?
Sorry you feel that way.

Based upon how you feel in general about this team, coach and program it’s easy to see why.
Must suck.

You just said coaches aren't responsible, at all, for wins and losses. So, yes, I feel that was a pretty fricking dumb statement.

When said coach isn’t from Lafourche Parish

And last years game aren’t “close” than Idk how you breathe on your own.

10 points is close? I guess last year was a war with bama huh? Kneeling inside our five yard line. LSU was never a threat to win any of those games so no they were not close

One-2 game it’s players

Season, every other game half the games it’s coaching.

LSU didn’t execute good calls bs Alabama and it significantly decreased their chances of winning.

It’s a fact. fricking deal with it.

0-0 in the 4th quarter and ended up 10-0 ISN'T a close game.... is that what you are saying?

Bruh, O couldn't recruit enough corners because Les left him with 18 kickers on scholarship.

Amen! The idea that a PROVEN LOSER and journeyman DL coach was LSU’s best option as HC is both laughable and very sad. And what’s more depressing is that some truly believe that was the best poor old LSU could do

Nobody believes that. How many times have you posted this horseshite?

A 14 point loss, never being closer than 11 after the 1st quarter, was a close game to you?

LSU didn’t execute good calls bs

Is it possible that they didn't execute those calls because they weren't running proper drills in practice? Or practiceed too much or not enough? Were the players given the best information in meetings during the week?

Well frick with this logic the 1/9/12 game was a barn burner that was called perfectly by Les and just not executed.

Who the hell MADE you respond. I’ll post whatever I choose to post , whenever I choose to post on any thread I choose to post. You don’t have to respond to anything. No one makes you do that but yourself. This is an open forum. You don’t own it or make the rules for it. You also don’t tell me or anyone else here how to conduct ourselves on this forum. If you don’t like it, don’t read it or respond to those comments. Now, go have a wonderful day. I’m certain you are a true JOY to be around. I’m certain you brighten the day of all of those you come in touch with. You are wasting your time here. You should be writing self help and positive thinking books to help people less intelligent and intuitive than yourself. What an inspirational thinker you are!!!

my biggest concern is he won't win jack shite and we are delaying the inevitable with years wasted.

which is why we NEED him to win BIG now in case he is fored in a few years at least we can say he kept our natty streak going or something like that. many fans do not have the years left to waste on what was seen as a shite lazy hire. IMO we held onto miles far too long. now we may be in at least a 3 year bind with O if he does not win.

i do not understand the " we have to give him 3 years crowd". i can see that IF he had to rebuild a losing program. this is not a losing program and NOt a rebuild THUS why he was hired.
